"what did you say?" she whispered, almost in pain. Well, she could've filled me.

"I said it's too bad William isn't your mate, otherwise that would be a real problem. I thought you noticed by now. Unless the spell hast wore off yet." I thought for a moment.

"That's not possible, you can't tamper with the mate bonds, you just can't," she said, her face looking like she was about to cry.

"Everything is possible when you've got..... Magic." I clarified for the girl. "it's simple really, I told Edriana to put a spell that would attract you to William and my dear handsome William had to play the role." i said honestly.
