~2~Caught unexpectedly~

I was stupefied and gaped at him whilst gulping nervously with my fingers fiddling with each other. I don't even know what to say.

"I'm short, I wear a frowning face and I have a bad character" he claps his hands and crack into laughter.

"I didn't say you have a bad character" I disputed, unfit to look into his eyes

"Oh really, guess I have bad hearing too" he snickered.

"I said you don't have any good character" I retorted bluntly.

"You"

"I'm sorry sir, she's just too silly and it's also not good for you to waste your energy on her. She's clueless and doesn't know how life works, forgive her please" Daniella interrupted, begging with him with a different cajoling strategy.

But wait, would he have slapped me if she didn't stop him? Oh shoot! Daniella should have just permitted him to try his worst and he'll have seen a different Sharon today.

"Will you stop bluffing?" My subconscious chastised making me feel irked.

"I'm not bluffing, I'll beat him up" I didn't realize I said that out.

"You'll even beat me up?" He asks in an unstable tone.

"Who told you I was talking to you?" I stutter, not sure if it'll work.

"You will only get the bonus if you sell 300 glittering kitty doll before evening" 

"What? 300 pieces" We both cried out in panic at his statement.

"What is what? If I were you guys, I'll start advertising already" he grunts and strode away briskly.

I clutch my fist, ready to whack him from behind but Daniella stopped me.

"If I were you, I'll just leave him be and focus on what I came here to do," she said in the same way he talked and I couldn't help but shush her.

"Leave me alone, you should have let me handle that strong head" I pound my feet annoyingly.

" You're the strong head here, he only asked us to sell out 300 pieces because of you" she disagreed, I pout my lips realizing that I'm the cause of all this.

"You can wear the costume inside the tent" she pointed at the tent and scuttled to where the tent was.

I wonder if I'll be able to survive in this costume as it looks like it'll eat me up, I resisted every silly thought and put it on.

There were just two people in front of the cart and it doesn't even look like they'll buy, they're only staring and giggling.

"You blink you miss" it took me a hell of courage to finally say this as I wave the kitty doll in my hands skywards.

"Girl, what was that?" Daniella blurted out, surprised at what I just said.

"It's a line used by a successful entrepreneur to get a  lot of customers, I wanted to see if it'll work out" I explained and all she did was nod.

"I'm not sure about this, no one is here even after saying it" she glanced around.

"Let's watch and see" I smirk, so positive about it.

"You blink, you miss, a must-have for every girl, a gift to give your loved ones, the most beautiful gift for your girlfriend.. while you're contemplating on buying, someone else has gotten theirs, what are you still waiting for sweeties" I shut my eyes tightly and I couldn't imagine myself saying all this but I did.

Two girls rushed towards me, I quickly pushed the cart to them as they pick their favorite color and paid into the box beside it. They moved to the other side and took a picture before leaving.

Before we know it, the cart was filled with so many people around it, everyone struggling to get theirs and I could see the tired look on Daniella's face as she couldn't control them.

I pushed my way through and run into the company, the manager's office was on the firdf floor so I didn't need to get into the elevator. I dash to his office and opened the door without knocking.

"Oh my God!" I clamored loudly as I glinted my eyes at the scene I was witnessing.

"Why didn't you knock before coming in?" He stutters whilst zipping up his trouser.

"Would you have heard even if I knocked? You're busy with her" I giggled, staring downwards at the lady hiding her face.

"What do you want?" He asks rashly.

"I'm not here to make a deal, can I have your speaker?" I ask, not even waiting for his response before carrying it.

"You can leave now" he was falling back into his normal behavior.

"Of course I'll" I smiled and winked teasingly.

"You!!" I yelled at the lady.

"Meet me outside when you're done with your sugar daddy" I laughed hysterically as I made my way out of his darn office.

Daniella will be so thrilled to hear about this and I can't just wait to have that rude and sassy girl beg me to keep her secret. I'll wait for her.

I placed the speaker at the center, crowds filled the front of the cart up and I'm sure they'll calm down in a bit.

I dip inside my pocket and brought out my phone, connected it to the speaker, and got stuck while choosing the song to play.

Say so by Doja Cat or Savage Love by Derulo? 

Gosh, I'm so stuck because I love these two songs equally but if I should think in the people plight. Playing say so will get them more scattered but Savage Love has the kind of soothing tone.

I pressed on the play and walked to the front…

"Can I have your attention please?" They might not even answer me.

"There are enough pieces for everyone but you might stay longer than expected if there's no queue, so let's form a queue and everyone will leave here early. By the way, enjoy the song" never have I ever expected myself to be this sweet towards people.

Guess money can make you do things you never imagined doing.

Things were starting to calm down and everyone left with a happy face, all of a sudden, I was dragged by a cold hand.

"What's your problem?" I half yelled, jerking her hands off mine.

"I don't have a problem, you do" 

"Wow, you have the guts to talk back" I smile, she sure doesn't know what I have for her.

"You want to threaten me with what you saw right? You must be stupid because no one will believe you cos you don't have any evidence" she clapped her hand, pacing to and fro like a boss lady.

I pity this girl.

"I don't have evidence?" I ask rhetorically.

"Let's wait till you see yourself on the news front page tomorrow" I giggled softly.

"Like seriously, you're even threatening me over nothing. Fuck off girl" she pushed me away but not too hard so I didn't fall.

"Care to check this out?" I raised my phone to her face, her mouth was widened open in shock.

"You like what you're seeing right?" I smirk, bringing it more closer to her face, she wanted to snatch the phone from me but I was quick to drag it back.

"I'm sorry, but how were you able to snap this?" She asks in a cracking tone.

"I brought out my phone and pressed on record and placed it in my chest pocket when I went to get the speaker that was how I was able to get this if you'll get out of my sight" I ordered sternly.

"Please delete this, I, I'll give you 100$"

"That's awesome but as you can see, I'm not hungry and I don't look hungry unlike you who sleeps around with men for money" I insulted.

"I'm not doing anything with this video, just don't mess with me" I warned and walked away.

Irritating bitch!

"Baby girl, My sweetheart" Daniella jumped at me, hugging me so tightly that I could hardly breathe.

"Get off me woman" I grunt tiredly, pushing her off my body.

"And I'm not your sweetheart, Louis is" I loll my eyes faintly.

"I was only kissing your butt because of the sales we made today" she uttered.

"How many pieces?" I ask, eagerly waiting for her answer.

"We have just 2 pieces left" my eyes widen in disbelief.

" You don't mean it?" I queried, fleeing towards the cart and she was truly right.

It's what every lady must have, guess the remaining two were for us.

" This is awesome, let's go and show that short man" I held the box containing the sales money as I hauled her with me.

"Stop calling him short, to me you're shorter" I halted, scowling at her.

She's right tho, I'm very short but my behavior isn't short.

"I have something that'll burst your brain, I'll tell you later" I whispered slowly as we scuttled to his office.

"I have been wanting to ask cos I saw you with a girl earlier, she seems familiar" I knew she saw us earlier.

"Come in" we didn't knock more than once before he asked us to come in.

"We sold everything, here is your money" I pushed the box whilst grunting at him.

"Wow, here's your payment" he pushed two envelopes with our names written on them, his eyes were pleading with me to forget about what I saw.

"Have a great evening sir" Daniella bowed after dropping the key to the tent and some files on his table.

"Let's go" she whispered into my ears.

We got outside, still wearing the costume.

"Take it off, we'll put it inside the cart. I'll take it inside and come to meet you when I'm done" she explained and I heard someone call my name the moment I took the kitty head off.

I gaze in the direction and it turns out to be....
