She had not talked to the Chairman about the deal at all and now her head was pounding with the thoughts about Grandfather Magnus' extreme reactions... The insults would start from the word ' Stupid ' and those insults would end at the word ' Useless '. Sara hated both words. “ You really didn't talk to him about the deal Ma'am?! ” Liam groaned out for the nth time not believing that she, Sara, just ran out of there and straight down, until she was out of the building without doing what she was sent to do. She had never failed Grandfather Magnus before. Never. But from the time Silas came into her life, she had been failing and failing in everything. ' You just want to throw the blame on him ' Her mind yelled at her as she raised her hand
AUTHOR'S POV “ We need to meet. ” Sara deadpanned as soon as she picked up the call. “ Something happened? Again? ” He breathed out, his voice sounding like he was trying to hold back his laughter.Okay. It might be a bad idea asking him to do something when he was definitely going to ask for something in return, Sara thought as she stayed silent and nibbled on her lower lip thoughtfully. “ What do you want Sara? ” He asked in a serious tone when Sara stayed silent for a long time. It was such a good chance at getting him off her back that she wanted to do just as Grandfather Magnus said so Camelia could deal with him instead of her. The thought crossed her mind and she found herself sighing to herself. The last time she had relied on a powerful man for help, he had tried to rape her and she had killed him. She could never forget this now. The memory was etched in
AUTHOR'S POV Stupid. It was so stupid. Sara cursed internally when she observed Silas's amused expressions. He was already amused that they both were going and they were going alone; together.“ We are going on honeymoon. Not vacations but honeymoon. It's called honeymoon. ” Even after Sara shut him down harshly, Silas still spoke out setting fire to the blood running in Sara's veins. Her fuming face was amusing to him. She was looking at him like she was forced to swallow a whole alive chicken and there was nothing more funny than this for Silas. “ Th-Think whatever you want! ” Sara stammered out getting affected by hi
AUTHOR'S POV Settling down on the last seat in the jet, Sara heaved a breath of relief. Instead of staying far away, Silas came and sat down on the seat opposite of her causing Sara to almost throw her legs in the air and whine out. Why couldn't he just leave her the hell alone? To avoid listening to Silas and looking in his piercing eyes, she plugged in the earphones before turning her head to look outside the window. In a while, the plane was in the air and all she could see from here were fluffy clouds. Sighing softly, Sara's mind wandered off to what that Devil might do again. She couldn't help but feel on edge. Sara didn't know what she was doing or what she wanted to do anymore. Everything was blurred now. Future. Ambitions. Decisions. Goals. Everything. Her tired eyes were still fixed on those clouds as a lump clogged her throat slowly. Suddenly, someon

Slowly, she looked down before realizing he was laying beside her. His hand was supporting his head and he was smiling down at her. “ What. Are. You. Doing? ” Raising her eyebrows, Sara croaked out and pushed herself to sit. Looking around, she sighed. Did he really carry her to the room when she was sleeping? She sighed again. “ We are landing in half an hour. We need to go back to the seats and buckle up. ” Silas informed her before getting up and leaving her alone. Sara narrowed her eyes and glared at his back until he disappeared. Inhaling deeply, she got up too and strolled to the door before going to the bathroom to fix herself up. Fixing her hair and clothes, Sara came out and took her seat far aw

From the scenery to the current temperature, he talked about everything. Sara knew, he just wanted her to talk to him but she was too stubborn for that. She just kept listening to him and then went back to bed. She regretted getting up now. She hated to admit it but every time Silas talked about even the stupidiest of things... Sara listened to him carefully. Now as she laid on the bed with her back facing the room, she simply stared at the wooden wall in front of her. The bed was swaying lightly which was causing her some serious anxiety but she was not going to admit it out loud. Out of a sudden, Sara felt the other side of the bed dipping and she turned around instantly. “ We won't sleep in the same bed. ” She declared just as her eyes
AUTHOR'S POV “ Silas ” His name rolled off Sara's tongue efficiently. Silas easily heard her sweet voice coming from behind. He turned around, surprised to find her standing behind him on some distance. Her arms were wrapped around her body as she tried to protect herself from the cold and her eyes...Her eyes held some weird emotions in them. It felt like she was overwhelmed with emotions. Did she have a nightmare? He wondered and took out his hands from his pockets. He pushed his right hand forward, before he called out to her. “ Come here. ” His voice was demanding, he knew that. He never used this tone on her before. It was only impulsive, but surprisingly, Sara listened and strolled to him. He wondered and stepped forth leaving the distance of an inch between them. His warmth seeped through her back and her hair stood up on their ends. Her heart which was beating fast before threatened to explode out of her chest now. She was shaking lightly. Pushing his hand forward, Silas let his forefinger trace a line on her cold hand and watched as her body jolted back. A smirk came to rest upon his lips after watching her reaction to his touch.
