“What the hell happened out there?” Ashton asked the second we entered my chamber, my heart raced as I realized that I was just standing in front of the king, looking him in the eye, while calming a furious wolf, which happened to be Nathan.
“Nathan had his father on death point, that’s what happened” I said looking my best friend in the eye, his blue eyes widened in surprise as he sat on the couch in front of me, the scratch on my neck stained the dress that I was wearing, but it was honestly the least of my concern right now.
