I ran as fast as I could, feeling alive for the first time in forever.

My mind racing as I realized that I admitted to Kiara that she was my mate, my wolf forcing me to do so, the way she had instantly calmed me, her eyes on me, her fingers ruffling with my fur in such a gentle manner that had me purring in delight.
