Nathan:
“Princess, the wound is still bleeding, but we’re going to clean it and change the bandage” I heard the castle nurse speak to Kiara inside her room, I nodded at the guards who were standing at her door to knock it, smelling my mate’s blood made my wolf whimper, but I also knew that it was prove for everyone to see that she had found her mate, just the simple thought of that calmed me and my wolf down.
“Come in” I heard Kiara say from inside and the guard opened the door, our eyes met as I saw the nurse take off the bloodied bandage and throwing it in a bag, before she started cleaning the dried blood which was around the wound, the mark of Deniz now more visible as the blood had started clotting in some areas, her eyes darted toward the mark as she examined it before she turned her attention back to me, her eyes looking into mine.
“Does it hurt?” I asked Kiara who shrugged, wincing making me raise an eyebro

Nathan:I ran my fingers through my hair as the last of the men left the meeting room leaving me alone.It was half past seven and I knew that I had ditched Kiara, though I didn’t have any other option as we had trouble happening back in the kingdom, the wolves got into endless fights with the humans, thinking that they were stronger than they were, which in reality they were, the wolves decided to follow no rules and start raiding the human stores, houses, and parks.I tapped my finger over the table, my mind racing for a solution to the problem I suddenly had in hand, it wasn’t like it was the first day the humans and wolves lived with one another, and yet, they were acting as if it was the first time they ever met, I sighed standing up to find the door of the office being opened and Daniel walked inside surprising me.“Is everything alright Daniel?” I asked frowning in confusion.“Princess Kiara…”

Kiara:We were sitting on the floor of Nathan’s veranda after finishing the dishes, the maids and servants brought what we cooked there, having been surprised that I had the prince clean the mess with me, seeing his hands wet and filled with soap as he helped me out.Pillows surrounded us as the table was set in front of us somewhat forgotten while we talked, Nathan sat with his back against a pillow, one leg crossed under him while he raised the other, resting his arm on his knee, I sat cross legged in front of him, my knees exposed, though he didn’t seem to mind.“When I was younger, I loved going out to the garden to watch the stars, mother found out about it and scolded me for hours, since it wasn’t really allowed to go out without a guard in the castle, especially at night, and I was seven or eight at the time, but she had me moved to a chamber with a veranda the next week, giving me a chance to stargaze whenever I felt like it&rdquo
