Chapter Twenty Three
“I see you got over your fear of having the baby out of your sight huh mi amor?”, Gavin said as he placed all the food items on the table next to Fernanda and begun to unpack some for her to eat.
Fernanda was confused at his statement and lifted herself to up to sit straight, she looked at the crib where the baby was supposed to be and she was not there and neither were her friends.
“Gavin I did not authorise anyone to take the baby, stop playing games with me okay”, she begun to say with so much fear in her tone.
She attempted to get up from the bed to do more searching but Gavin quickly reached out to her to stop her from getting up.
“I am sure your friends just decided to take a walk with her to allow you to rest okay”, he tried to assure her.
And in that very moment Stacey walked in with the bag of drinks Brianna sent her to get, she stopped immediately when she saw the struggle between Gavin and Fernanda.

Hours had gone by and there was still no news about Brianna and the baby, Fernanda begun to feel her blood pressure rising and her heart rate increased. The last time a nurse came to check her vitals she told her that if it was not going to be get under control she would lose a lot of blood and die, that scared her a lot but it did nothing because she was still obsessing over the kidnapping. Gavin’s mother arrived at the hospital and was at receptionist asking about if she could go in and see her daughter in law, just as she was about to get a go ahead, Stacey walked past behind her and realized who was standing at the reception.“Hi Mildred, good to see you again. After days of recovery, nurses and doctors, and drama, Fernanda was finally going home. Her doctor came to give her all the results of her tests and assured her that the baby was healthy and ready to go home, a farewell rally was done for her as she left with her baby in a wheelchair and being pushed by Gavin.All the nurses and doctors lined up outside the hospital to see her off with flowers, gifts and words of encouragement.
