Chapter Twenty Seven
Fernanda wondered why Gavin thought it was a right time to joke around and then decided not to pay mind to what he said, but the man that stood next to him seemed to be very happy to see Fernanda despite having never met her before, she looked at him as he approached her to extend a warm hand shake and officially introduce himself.
“Hi Fernanda, it is nice to finally meet you. My name is Jorge, your elder brother”, he said.
Fernanda was now curious after that introduction, how could someone out of nowhere just declare he’s her brother? She gave him an unsure look but returned the hand shake, she looked at Gavin who was not in the least convinced either. But she decided to entertain it and listen to what Jorge had to say.
Mildred woke up from her short nap and saw the man standing next to Gavin and heard when he said brother,
“brother? Gavin what is going on?”, she asked while also giving Fernanda a puzzled look.
