Austin was sitting in his office deep in thoughts, this last attack made him realize that things cannot go on this way and as much as they have tried to conceal the fact, he does not have a wolf. They cannot do it forever, he needed to find Shannon and soon. His beta Eliot come into the office, but Austin did not even hear him come in, Eliot sighed when he saw him like that and walked into the office then took a seat in front of him.

“We will find her alpha.” His voice broke Austin out of his thoughts and he looked at him then sighed. “It’s been a month and nothing. It has been one dead end after another, and I cannot help but feel like I want her only to use her again. She is my mate Eliot but with the way things are it makes me feel like I only want her to be able to get Blake back. isn’t that the same as when I made her my slave, made her do what I wanted for my own selfish reasons?” he was in a dilemma and did not know what to do.
