Chapter 10

Images of my family came to my mind, I just couldn't bring myself to hurt them this way. It wasn't their fault with what was going on in my mind. I placed the blade down, curled my knees to my chest and just sobbed for hours. All I wanted was for the pain to go away, I wanted to forget about everything. 

I found what little strength I had left and pulled myself out of the cold water, I felt dead inside, nothing mattered, I didn't care about the cold air hitting my skin. I grabbed the towel and only dried my hair.

I woke up the next day with a major headache, my eyes were swollen from all the crying. Yet, I still didn't care. I got to the kitchen made my tea and took some advil.
