Chapter 5

Alpha's Stubborn Mate 

**Moving into the pack house**

       Karen's P O V

My eyes slowly parted open when I felt someone's presence in my room.

I feel nauseated.

"Karen" a cold firm voice kept calling me until I recognized the owner of the voice. I sat up slowly to see his shadow.

It's still very dark.

"Mika" I yearned.

"What are you doing inside my room?" I asked as I scratched my back.

"You'll be joining the patrol team this morning, prepare yourself immediately. After that, you come over to the pack house, the Alpha requests your presence. Do not waste his time" Mika instructs.

"Huh, but I have to also prepare for school. What time will I arrive school then?" I asks staring at his shadow.

"That should be your business, Karenina. Do not disobey the Alpha" Mika warns before disappearing into the dark night.

I lie back in bed.

I still wanna sleep a bit, I feel sick.

I lie down and closed my eyes.

"Karen, aren't you going to school today?" I heard my mom's loud voice inside my head.

My eyes fled open, I sprang out of bed at the realization that the sun was already up.

"Oh geez! Oh geez!" I cussed as I rushed inside my bathroom. A sudden wave of dizziness hit me, I held myself, shut my eyes as I took out my brush and paste.

After taking some paste, I fixed the brush into my mouth in order to brush my teeth but started feeling a great urge to puke, I opened my mouth and released all the content inside my mouth to the washing basin.

I touched my head, feeling a bit better. An image of me vomiting last night suddenly flashes into my head.

Alpha Andrew carried me into his car after letting me puke, and speaking of Alpha Andrew.

"Oh fuck! The patrol! Oh fuck! I can't believe I forgot such thing."

Now, he is gonna really punish me. I believe joining the patrol was one of my punishment but now more is gonna be added to it.

But, I look forward to his punishment anyways.

I smirked at that knowledge and continued brushing my teeth.

After brushing, I took my bath lazily.

Came out from the bathroom to look for a nice dress to put on, I was still searching for an appropriate dress to put on when I heard banging at the front door.

I pause to listen and know the person at the door when I sensed my mother walking towards the door to open it.

Could it be Lily? I bet she is at school already.

But then I suddenly hear the gruffy voice of Andrew. My eyes widened.

Moon goddess! Don't tell me he has come to take me!

Without processing anything at all, I put on my clothes and jumped out through the window, I started running away into the woods, I'm gonna go to school from there.

But fuck! I bet he already felt my presence immediately he entered our house.

He is after me.

I can sense someone running after me, he is fast,  I hastened my pace, suddenly thinking of letting my wolf out.

I reach the end of the woods, I made to run to the road side to board any oncoming vehicle that will take me to school before I felt a strong hand grab me from behind.

The force used in grabbing me was really strong, I found myself lying on the floor the next second.

A growling Alpha standing tall and staring down at me.

I smile nervously a little, who knows what he will do to me now that he is really angry. I bet his wolf is threatening to come out and eat me alive.

I trust Alpha Andrew, the one I don't trust is his wolf.

His wolf is really threatening to come out but I see Alpha Andrew is trying to keep him at bar.

Oh! I'm so doomed.

His growling stops after a while.

I gasp out in relieve.

The next thing, Alpha Andrew picks me up from the floor like a weightless shewolf. He pins me to the tree next to us.

"How many....How many times, Karen?" Alpha Andrew's snarls.

"I'm...I'm sorry, I slept off. I didn't mean to" I found myself apologizing. His eyes were still glowing. I can't take chances to further infuriate him.

His strong hand joins with my neck in a threatening manner, his eyes goes to my neck and he stares at me for long as if considering something.

I keep breathing out heavily as I silently prayed he doesn't go nut again.

After a long time, he lets go of my neck. Grabs my hand and started leading me back into the forest.

"Where...where are you taking me to? I need to go to school, I am already late" I asks and says as I try to break free from his hold.

His grips only tightened on me. He kept walking so fast and I could tell that he was still angry at my disobedience. But this isn't the first time anyways.

"Andrew...? Andrew, please let me go, I'll...I'll come back to you later,I promise" I said.

I tried biting his hand when he doesn't listen but he turns and glares dangerously at me when my teeth was about connecting with his hand.

"Karen!" He snaps.

"Don't infuriate me further" he warns and continued dragging me into the woods.

We got to the front door of my house. Andrew opens the door and my mom was standing inside the room looking scared, might be scared of what Alpha Andrew was gonna do to me.

She immediately rushes to us.

She went on her knees.

"I'm so sorry, Alpha, I'm sorry on her behalf. I..I gave birth to such a disobedient daughter, please spare her, please don't kill her" my mom pleads.

A cold mean look remained on Andrew's face as he stares down at my mom.

"Go pack all her bags, from today, she is gonna be leaving in the pack house, with me" Alpha Andrew announces.

My eyes snaps open at his words.

"What? Leaving with you at the pack house? But I'm not a Luna, neither I'm I your Beta or omega, why should I live in the pack house with you?" I questioned immediately.

"I guess you'll become my omega then" Alpha Andrew replies with a wicked smirk plastered on his face.

"Oh!" My mom cries as she stood up from the floor and went into my room.

Alpha Andrew's hold is still tight on me.

I poundered on his declaration.

Being an Omega!

Really? Is he really gonna make me that?

Moon goddess, I should have been more careful around him. I should have stopped disobeying him, now I have started regretting it. My poor mom's cries could be heard from here.

For a few minutes, I felt defeated, rejected. My mom is crying because of my stubbornness.

I look up at Alpha Andrew to see that he was busy staring closely at me.

I take my eyes back to the floor in surrender.

I can't go on my knees and plead with him to forgive me. No, I can't! No matter what!

My mom comes out with two suitcase full of my wears.

Alpha Andrew turns immediately and started leaving. He is no longer holding me now.

A tear slides down my tear duct as I look at my mom.

"I'm sorry mom, I'm such a disappointment" I bow my head in shame as I collect the suitcase from her.

I drag it outside to where Alpha Andrew's car was parked.

I walk to the booth, kept my suitcase in before staring up at my mom who was standing at the door, still crying and looking at me.

Disappointment, displease and sadness was clear in her eyes.

I enters the open car and the driver took off. I remain quite, my hands folded as I held back the tear that continued threatening to fall.

I won't cry in front of him. I won't give him the satisfaction he needs, if he please he should just kill me or banish me.

He is the Alpha anyways. I don't regret disobeying him anymore, I thought.

*This is all your fault, Karen. You love disobeying him, he is finally showing his trait as a true leader, finally really exercising his power* Kira wines.

*He has always been exercising his power, Kira, he just started doing that with me. Probably because he turned eighteen* I replies my wolf.

*I am not ready to be a lone wolf you know. I feel so sad* she says again.

I felt an ache in my heart. I've hurt not only my mom, I've also hurt my wolf.

Who knew he was gonna change this badly after turning eighteen? I didn't predict this at all.

We finally drives into the pack house after a while.

Alpha Andrew comes down from the car. I follows with a moody look on my face.

"You are back" Mika says walking towards us.

Andrew doesn't reply him, he started walking into the pack house immediately.

"I want to see you in my office now!" Alpha Andrew says to me.

I walk to the back of the car to bring out my luggage.

"You brought your luggages already?" Mika asks walking towards me.

I didn't reply him as I carry them down to the floor.

"Are you that sad? Any shewolf in your shoe will be so happy, why do you look sad?" Mika asks obviously not aware of the fact that I'm now an Omega wolf. I don't really get what he is talking about either.

"Where is my room now? Which room should I stay in?" I asks.

"Well" Mika folds his arms before replying.

"You should ask him. This was unplanned, I really have no idea" he answers.

I start dragging the suitcases with me into the pack house.

I got closer to his office before dropping my suitcases.

I walk to the door, open it slowly then walked in.

I saw him sitting on a one sitter sofa, his legs crossed and a stick of cigarettes stuck in between his mouth.

He looks up at me immediately.

"Come sit down here" he patted the sofa next to him and says.

I felt cold at his words.

I walks up to him. Sits down at the instructed position.

After smoking for a while, he focuses his attention to me.

"The main reason why you are here is not to be my omega, Karen. That is a lie I just told your mother, bear in mind that you are not here to serve me" he says.

I felt my eyes widen at his words.

"Then what am I here for?" I sharply ask, the ache I felt, gone.

"To be my Luna" he simply replies sending waves of shock into my body system.
