Zac’s point of view.
I picked Ellie up at 6 pm before helping her into my car as we make the drive to my house. The conversation flows between us, and after a couple of hours, I'm pulling into the drive.
I smile when I see the look on Ellie's face when she sees the house, I had the same reaction the first time I saw the place and made an offer on it the same day. I love this house. It's built from old stone and sits within its own grounds. It's peaceful here, away from the city.
She gasps as she says.
