Butterfly and the CEO
Zac’s point of view.
I picked Ellie up at 6 pm before helping her into my car as we make the drive to my house. The conversation flows between us, and after a couple of hours, I'm pulling into the drive.
I smile when I see the look on Ellie's face when she sees the house, I had the same reaction the first time I saw the place and made an offer on it the same day. I love this house. It's built from old stone and sits within its own grounds. It's peaceful here, away from the city.
She gasps as she says.
“Wow, Zac, it's beaut
Butterfly and the CeoChapter 16Ellies’s point of view.I wake up in the morning wrapped in Zac’s arms. He stayed with me after the nightmare and held me in his arms all night, safe to say I never had another nightmare after that. I look at him as he sleeps. My god, this man is handsome. I smile as much more than him being insanely attractive with the looks and body of a Greek god. He makes me feel safe, and that's something I haven't felt in a long time.I drift off back to sleep with a smile on my face. I open my eyes again as I hear him gently calling my name.“Ellie? Are you awake, baby?”
Butterfly and the CEOChapter 17Ellie’s point of viewThe next few weeks fly by, and I find myself falling more in love with Zac Harris; he treats me like a princess, and I am finally beginning to let go of my past. The new generation project is now finished, and Harris Corps Designs has been given an award for their work in the community. It's Friday afternoon, and I’m waiting for Erin to finish up at work as we are heading into town to find dresses for the awards ceremony. As I wait, I run through my calendar, making sure that I'm up to date with everything; when Zac walk

I'm back at our apartment as Erin and I wanted to help each other get ready together; Erin has done my hair and makeup. Butterfly and the CEO Chapter 19 Zac’s point of viewI watch as Ellie reads the letter; it slips from her hands as her face turns white, and I say“Ellie, are you okay, baby?”I reach for her just before she hits the floor, picking her up in my arms as I say.“Fuck, Ellie baby…..what's wrong?"
Butterfly and the CEOChapter 20Ellie’s point of view.Zac stayed by my side right through the statement; although I could feel his anger, he never said a word as I relived my nightmare. He gives me the strength to go through with this, and when I’m finished, he wipes away my tears, and when we're finally alone, he says,“I’m so fucking proud of you, Ellie; you are the bravest person I’ve ever known.”There's a knock on the office door, and Zac calls out.
Butterfly and the CEOChapter 21Ellie’s point of viewI wake up with the feeling of hands wrapped tightly around my neck; it gets harder to breathe. He laughs as he watches me fighting for my breath, as he says.“Did you really think you could escape from me, Ellie…”As he slaps me hard across my face, I scream as I see the knife in his hands. He smirks as he runs the blade down past my breasts and lower until he reaches my stomach. I’m crying now as he
Butterfly and the CEOChapter 22Zac’s point of view. The weekend flies by. A weekend spent in bed in each other's arms. There has been no update from the cops yet; all I know is that a warrant is out for Sam’s arrest, and I'm also hoping that Isaac will be able to find his whereabouts, and I can get this finished soon. It breaks my heart to see Ellie suffering like this.Ellie is still sleeping when I wake up, and I take a minute to look at her. My god, she is so beautiful with her fiery hair spread out across my pillows; I slide out of bed carefully,
Butterfly and the CEOChapter 23Zac’s point of view. The following week passes, and still no sign of Sam from either the police or from Issac's sources. I can see how angry he is with this; Issac has come to look at Ellie like a daughter, and Ellie every night I go home, I can see her getting more and more frustrated, and I know that her being at home all the time is driving her crazy. After she explained how Sam kept her prisoner, I can understand how hard this is on her. It’s Friday afternoon, and I’m just getting ready to head home for the week
