“The surgery went successfully! She is cancer free! Congratulations!” doctor exclaimed.
We breathed out. It was a great relief.
“Thank you, Doctor! You saved our grandma!” dad exclaimed and shook his hand.
“It’s my job! I’m happy to give you such news!” he continued and left.
All of us hugged immediately. We were very happy. I couldn’t be more excited. A lot of things got better and it seemed like every other problem became nothing.“Dad, how many days should she stay in the hospital?” I asked.
“4-7 days. I think everything will be alright. They just need to look after her, so the diseases don’t come back,” dad answered.
“Okay.” I nodded.
“But you have to go back to Spain.”
“What?! I can’t leave my granny!”
