Vulnerable Position

As soon as she reached there, her maid, Coira, and Benny helped her to get him in the house. Coira was all wide eyed at the Lykae. “He is a pleasure to look at, Alyssa!” she said. “Ye should seduce him to marry ya lass! He will start earnin’ good once his training with Tova is over.” Coira was swooning over him already, the lines on her face easing out.

The old woman was a human and loved Alyssa ever since the witch queen had given her to be her nursemaid. The queen had handed little Alyssa to Coira when she was barely a week old. “Look at how handsome he is. I am sure he must be pretty well-hung!” Coira winked and Alyssa became scarlet red.

“Coira!” She scowled at her nanny. “Ye know why he is ‘ere! So let’s just stay focused. Help me tie him!”

They carried the man inside the house with difficulty.

Tova woke up by mid-noon with a thousand kinds of pains cruising through his body. Every part of him hurt so bad as if he had been attacked by an army, and abandoned him with bruises all over. His head was pounding with a heavy headache and he felt that his eyes were swollen. His vision was blurry. When he fluttered open his eyes, he saw strange images and heard distant voices. “Gaitttt upppp… Cainnn you seeee?” And then a bitter solution was forced down his throat, half of which he sputtered. He slipped into darkness again.

For what seemed like eternity, he dreamt of the girl with black hair and green eyes on the most beautiful face he had ever seen.

---Mine---

Those were the words that rumbled from his chest in the loch under the waterfall. He dreamt of stroking her skin and gathering her in his arms and enjoying her till eternity. She had the most luscious breasts he had ever seen, which had risen perilously when she had drawn a breath in a low cut tunic she was wearing. He was dazed at the sight of them. He groaned.

Alyssa’s eyes flung wide open when he groaned. She was becoming anxious when the man didn’t wake up even after she had given him her best potion. She hadn’t left the room even for a single minute and continued to watch him. Tied on the chair, his head had lolled to the side. There was a huge lump on his temple and one at the back of his head. She had applied tons of ice for the swelling to subside. “Wake up Fenris,” she lamented. Her worry was so much that she hadn’t even had her food, even though she was ravenous to the extent that people could hear her grumbling stomach from miles away. Frustrated as hell she asked Coira to bring a basket of ice-cold water.

She picked up the pale and poured the water on his head.

Tova muttered a curse when he groaned more and shot one eye open. He roared and shook his head to remove water. Furious as hell, he got up from the chair snapping whatever rope was binding him in an instant. He wiped his face only to find himself looking in the same green eyes he was dreaming of. But the girl standing in front of him was way better. Now that he saw her…

---Mine---

Wait. What?

His wolf clamored him to reach her, pin her and mark her as his own. This couldn’t be. He shook his head to shove those thoughts.

But even as he thought this shouldn’t be the case, he found himself staring at the most beautiful girl he had ever seen in his life. Her face was oval shaped with plump rosy lips that he felt like nibbling and those emerald green eyes were almond shaped. With her red tresses tied in a messy bun atop her head, she looked like an angel. Tall at about five feet seven inches, the girl’s breasts were the highlight of her body. They ended in a tiny waist, which flared at the hips. He had seen so many women over his five hundred years, but none as lovely, as beautiful as her. And his eyes fell on her breasts that were heaving. Her long hair was still flowing down. Her exquisite blossomy smell of the flowers reminded him of his home, of his establishment. She was still wearing the same green tunic and black breeches. The dark circles under her eyes indicated how tired she was.

The girl was looking at him with horror in her eyes. She had staggered back a little. When she raised her eyebrows to estimate his action, he realized that the water was still dripping down his hair and chest. Despite the ice-cold water that she had thrown on him, he found himself becoming hard under her gaze.

Slowly, she walked away from him as if walking away from a beast and went to stand next to the door. “H— how are y— you f— feeling, Fenris?” she stammered.

Tova scanned the dingy room. There was not a single window, only small ventilation near the ceiling. An old table was lying in the corner where a pitcher was kept. His gaze swept over the old lady Coira who was admiring his looks, his body. He scowled at her and then turned to look at the girl. “Where am I?”

A boy appeared behind the girl with a spear in his hand. Jealousy flared and Tova wanted to rip off the boy. How dare he stand near his girl?

Wait. His girl?

“This is Alyssa,” said Coira buoyantly. “And she rescued you from kidnappers! Currently you are in her house, and this house stands near the Vonhurst forests.”

Alyssa snarled at Coira for giving so much information.

“Rescued me?” he canted his head and said in a dubious voice as he strolled towards her. He saw the boy pointing the spear in his direction.

“Don’t!” the boy warned.

Tova wanted to take the boy down and break his spear into two. He pointed at her, narrowed his eyes and said, “You hit me with a boulder.”

“I am s— sorry,” she replied in a barely audible voice. The Lykae was too intimidating. If she knew that his power was like that of a beast, she would have drugged him.

“Sorry?” he said with disbelief. “You practically kidnapped a man who was bathing and in a vulnerable position.”

Alyssa turned scarlet red.

“You didn’t even have the courtesy to allow me to fight!” he accused.
