Chapter 23: A Family
The next day came as flash, summer still couldn't figure out the reason she was sad, and mostly Charles cold attitude towards her.
They have cross part like more than five times, today, but he chose to ignore her. He was so cold to her, that he didn't even reply to her greetings.
He made it so obvious that he was angry with her, that got Summer thinking what could she have done wrong?
It was weekend today, which means no going to work, or stress. She could also tell that Charles was also not going to work, since he was in the living room watching a show, which he hardly does on a normal day.
“Are you not going to work today?” Summer asked but he didn't answer her.
She frowned, and sat on the chair with Charles. “What are you watching?” She said, trying her total best to ignore him.
He scowled, stood up and went to sit in the other.
