Chapter 19: Questioned

CALI’S POV

“Sir, Ma'am Calista is here.” Sachee, Lexus’ secretary, informed as she opened the door to his office. 

Nasa hulihan lang niya ako at naghihintay na papasukin sa loob kahit sigurado naman akong iyon ang gagawin niya. Hindi naman ganoon kakapal ang mukha ko para pumasok na lang basta sa loob kahit alam pa nila na mag-pinsan kami. I still want his approval for my sudden visit. I don't want to appear so bossy and demanding even if his secretary knows my secret relationship to him and just being silent. 

“Let her.” I heard him authorized inside followed by the rustling sound of something like he was in a hurry or what. 

“Copy, Sir.” 

Niluwagan ni Sachee ang pagkakabukas ng pinto at inilahad ang loob sa akin. I smiled at her and said my gratitude before she closed the door after I went in.
