Chapter 3

"Annie, can you come for a moment please?" I said in the intercom. The door immediately opened and Annie entered.

“Yes, Miss Gab?” She fixes her eyeglass as she mutters these words.

“Can you please tell me why Mr. Smith is calling me on my personal phone for the nth time now?” I asked her while showing her my phone with Mr. Smith’s number calling.

“He’s been calling me about your date with his nephew. I said you were busy. I never gave him your personal contact number so I don’t know where he got it. Should I call him now to tell him to stop?” She asked.

“Where the hell did he get my number?” I yelled without any hesitation. It’s been a busy year for me since I got promoted and everyone knows that I am not dating anyone right now. I don’t have time to date besides I am still young. I’m just turning 27 this year. I don’t have plans to settle yet.

“It’s from me.” The guy who entered my office said and I froze in my seat.

“Annie you may go. Sort my schedule out for the rest of the day. Thank you.” Annie nodded and walked out the door.

“She’s a chick.” He licked his lower lip and smiled playfully.

“Quit fantasizing about my secretary, East. What are you doing here? Don’t you have an airline to manage?” I look at him. He hasn't changed even a bit. He looks as young as he was when I last saw him.

He is Easton Summers Montgomery, my younger brother. He inherited our airline since my older brothers got the winery and hospital. I never planned to compete with them even though I am a licensed dermatologist and chemical engineer. I always try to stay away from my family’s name and business since it’s a lot of drama. That is also the reason why I use Summers and not Montgomery.

“Dad is bugging me to find you a guy. You’re freaking 27 and have no boyfriend. Mom is getting worried too so I gave your number to Mr. Smith.” He told me while wandering around my office.

“I have a lot of work out here. I don’t have time to date.” I told him and went back to my computer.

“Atleast come home for family dinner. It’s not that far from here.” He looked at me seriously.

“I’ll find time soon.” I told him.

“To date?” he grinned.

“Yeah. Whatever.” I just rolled my eyes at him.

“You might wanna find time to get pregnant too. You’re almost 30. I know you look really good but that won’t make it.” He pointed in my tummy and laughed.

“Yeah right. Like I care. Wanna have lunch?” I grabbed my purse and checked if my cards were there.

“Can we have steak? I heard the steak in the place near your office was good” He asked me while following me to the elevator.

“Have your steak. I’m on a diet.” I said. I saw him make a face so I kicked him lightly. He complained for a while until the elevator opened.

We decided to take his car and went to the steakhouse that he was talking about. We just chatted about family drama and his work. When lunch was over, he sent me back to the office.

“It was a nice lunch.” He said after he dropped me outside the building.

“Of course it was. I treat you so yeah it’s nice for you.” He laughed at what I said.

“Date someone. I hate seeing you lonely.” He said and I just nodded. He drove off after that and I went back to the office.

I was busy with a pile of paperwork when Thalia knocked and entered my office.

“Bitch, wanna go partying?” She asked me.

“Pass.” I said and pointed to the tower of paper in my desk.

“You can’t pass with this one. It has been a year since your freaking promotion and we haven’t celebrated yet.” She raised her voice a bit to get my attention. I stopped signing the papers and looked at her.

“Fine but I’m bringing Annie so someone can drive.” I pressed the intercom again to get Annie.

“Sure! The more the merrier!” She even clapped her hands as she spoke.

“Yes, Miss Gab?” Annie asked when she entered the room.

“We are partying tonight. Can you come? Just in case we can’t drive. I’ll pay you extra.” I asked her.

“Uhm yeah sure. I mean you don’t have to pay me.” She said and smiled.

“That’s it! See you at The Usual! 9pm!” She said and went out.

“Annie, you can go home early to prepare. Where should I pick you up?” I asked her.

“Uhm I can just uber.” She said,

“No you won’t. Meet me at my place. Here’s the spare key card.” I gave her my keycard and she just nodded.

“I’m going home then?” She asked.

“Yeah. I’ll go home later too. I’ll just finish this one.” I said as I pointed to the paper I’m reading. I went back to work and Annie went out to go home.

I went home at almost 6pm. I just slouch on my bed and set my alarm. I slept for a while but woke up when I heard someone open my door. I check the time. It’s 7pm. I walked out the room and saw Annie fixing the take outs that she brought.

“Oh Miss Gab, I didn’t know you’re already up. I brought some take outs.” She said and grabbed some plates for both of us.

“You can call Gab when we are out of work. It’s really weird that you call me Miss Gab at a party.”

“Uhm okay.” She said and gave me Chinese food.

“My brother likes you.” I said that almost made her choke. I laughed and gave her water.

“Your brother? When? How?” She said while trying to get some air.

“The guy in my office a while ago. He’s my younger brother. Easton. He said you’re a chick.” She looked at me dumbfoundedly.

“A chick? As in a baby chicken?” She asked innocently.

“No. As in a girl he would bone if he had a chance.” I said and her face turned red.

“Don’t be shy. We’re friends here.” I laughed and we continued eating. 

She said she’ll wash the dishes. I glanced at her and saw that she’s wearing a dress.

She can’t wear that dress to a club.

I went to my closet and got her a pair of ripped jeans and a bralette.

“Hey. You should change.” I gave her the clothes and she looked at what she’s wearing.

“We are going to a club. You can’t wear that flowy dress at a club.” I explained and went back to my room to prepare.

I just wore my leather bodycon dress and paired it with my high boots.

“Uhm Gab… Is this okay?” Annie asked me while consciously fixing her clothes. She got a great shape but her hair makes it unflattering. 

“Come inside. I’ll do your hair and make up.” I gestured my hands and she sat in the chair.

“I’m really sorry for the inconvenience. I don’t usually go to clubs and parties so I don't know what to wear.” She said while staring at me through the mirror.

“You’ve never been to clubs? So you don’t drink?” I asked her while curling her long hair.

“I do but if I only have to. I never really liked it.” I just nodded and did her make up. I did my make up as well.

“I should drive.” She said and laid her hands to ask for the car keys.

“No. You drive later. I’ll drive now.” I said and entered the car.

I drove to The Usual and saw my friends waving at us in the entrance. I parked the car and we walked towards them.

“I was about to call you. There are lots of VIPs inside. I heard they’re business men. Hotties!” Bea screamed.

“Hi Annie! You look great!” Tracy complimented.

“Thanks. Gab styled me.” Annie replied shyly.

“Let’s get inside. We’ll never catch a fish if we don’t get into the boat.” Thalia said. We all laughed and got inside.

I look around while the girls get us drinks. It was loud and messy inside. I saw some familiar faces and greeted them. All I know that night is I got wasted and danced a lot. The girls are having fun. Annie is talking to a guy at the counter. I saw a man approaching me. He is wearing a polo shirt tucked inside his black pants. He looks good. 

“Hey! I’ve been watching you from there. You seem familiar. Have we met before?” He leaned forward to whisper these words to my ear. I felt his breath in my ear and i felt the chills in my body. He smells good too.

“Wow. That’s a really old pick up line you got there, huh? I don’t think we’ve met before.” I laugh a bit. I was confident that we’ve never met before because I’ll surely remember if I ever met his handsome face before.

“Oh okay. Aquille.” He extended his hand to shake my hand.

“Gab.” I took his hand and pulled him closer to me. He was in shock but he got it quickly. He kissed me deeply. He bit my lower lip to make an entrance for his tongue. I let him in and he tasted every corner of my mouth like it is his new home. He stopped and grinned.

“Wanna continue this at my place?” He asked and I just nodded. I grabbed my purse and texted Annie to bring my car in her place and make sure my friends got home safely. I told her I am with another friend.

I know that I’m drunk because I cannot remember how we got to his door. All I know is that Aquille is kissing me again while tapping his keycard on the door. He supported my back and after a while we were in his bed. He took his shirt off and I saw his perfect masculine body right in front of me. He kissed me again and his lips went down on my neck. I felt his hand went from my legs to my waist then to my back. He is trying to find the zipper of my dress while kissing me deeply. I let go of the kiss. He was shocked when I let go. 

"It's on my left side." I told him and he looked for it. He pulled the zipper down and started kissing me again. He take my dress off revealing my uncovered breast and my underwear. He kissed my neck again and went down to my breasts. He sucked on my left nipple like a hungry baby while gently carresing the right one.
