Raking Money From Fox Demoness

With Xuan Wu and Ming Yue at the front, Bai Hu wanted to go by Ming Yue's side but he was blocked by Qing Long. It was quite rowdy and Ming Yue could only shook her head in resignation.

It turned out, Xuan Wu was a master in medicines and acupuncture. He knew about all the herbs and while he was helping Ming Yue, he gave explanation about each herbs.

"Is there something wrong, Master?" Xuan Wu asked as he caught her in a daze, as if her mind was preoccupied with something.

"Ah, no.. Nothing is wrong. I just feel weird." Ming Yue answered, still frowning.

"What do you feel weird about?" Xuan Wu asked, gazing seriously at Ming Yue. The rest of three also paid attention seriously at Ming Yue, making her feel embarrassed. It was the first time she was cared so seriously, as if she was a precious treasure.

"It's just.." Ming Yue hesitated before continuing, "I feel like my mind is clear now, I can remember everything by just hearing or seeing once. Isn't that weird?"

Silence fell but soon replaced by laughter. Ming Yue stared at them with a puzzle, clearly didn't understand why they suddenly laughed.

"My Lady, you don't have to be so puzzled." Bai Hu grinned.

"Yes, it's because you are not a mere mortal anymore." Zhu Que added, "You are a cultivator now. You have aura and a pure one at that."

Xuan Wu bent his body slightly and leaned his face forward to Ming Yue. A soft smile, filled with adoration was on his face. "So you see My Lady, you are a special one. Never thinks that you are lower than anyone. Those mortals should worship you instead." He said in soft tone, tapping the tip of Ming Yue's nose lightly with his slender finger.

But soon Qing Long pulled Xuan Wu collar from the behind to make some distance between him and Ming Yue while saying, "Too Close."

Xuan Wu chuckled and shook his head, "You.. really.." he said in resignation.

Ming Yue smiled warmly and replied, "Thank You. Though it's exaggerating to say that they should worship me." Ming Yue chuckled softly.

The four beasts let out smiles filled with irony. They knew Ming Yue could say something like because she didn't know the truth about her true identity. She didn't remember anything about them so she didn't know what caused her to be in mortal realm in the first place.

Ming Yue gathered some of the herbs and Xuan Wu chose two ginsengs for Ming Yue to sell. One was a one hundred years ginseng while the other one was a thousand years ginseng.

"Master, I shall come with you." Bai Hu said and transformed himself into a cat.

At first Ming Yue was curious about what kind of cat type Bai Hu would turn himself into. However when she saw Bai Hu turned himself into a cute silver bengal cat, her lips parted slightly and walked closer to scoop Bai Hu into her embrace.

"Oh my god, You are so cute!" Ming Yue said nuzzling her nose to Bai Hu's fur.

"Hehe~ I knew Master will like it~" He said smugly and it made Qing Long gnashed his teeth, feeling irritated.

Bai Hu grinned in satisfaction seeing the irritated Qing Long. Together, they bid everyone goodbye and left the heavenly place. What greeted Ming Yue the moment she opened her eyes was the mountain path. Still in Ming Yue's arms, Bai Hu scanned around the area.

"The air here is quite dirty, unlike in Tianshang De Kongjian." He said in disgust.

"True, the air in Tianshang De Kongjian is better." Ming Yue said while walking down the mountain path. Soon they exited the mountain and headed toward the herb store. She stopped in front of the store and read the signboard. It was written 'Nine Tails Herb Store'.

"The sign name is quite unique." Ming Yue commented but Bai Hu narrowed his cat eyes and gazed upon the store coldly. Ming Yue didn't notice Bai Hu's expression had turned from good to bad, she entered the store nonchalantly.

The moment she entered, what greeted her was a woman in her mid forties. She was smoking from a pipe and the moment she gazed at Ming Yue and Bai Hu, her body stiffened slightly. Her eyes became wary and nervous.

"What do you want, young girl?" The woman asked in stiff tone.

Oblivious to the woman's behavior, Ming Yue walked closer with Bai Hu in her arms. "Excuse me, are you the owner of this store?" she asked politely.

"Yes, and?" The woman probed her to continue,

"I have herbs and ginsengs that I gathered from the mountain nearby and I want to sell it. Can you please take a look and determine the price?" Ming Yue put Bai Hu on the floor and opened her bag, taking out the herbs and ginsengs as she put it on the counter.

The woman looked at the herbs and ginsengs and her jaw slackened. She couldn't believe what she have seen in front of her. The herbs that the young girl brought were all rare and precious! More over it was fresh and in its top condition!

Yet, her jaw dropped even more when she saw the ginsengs! her eyes could tell that they were one hundred and thousand years old ginseng! These are treasures!!

"I will buy it all! For the collection of herbs, I will pay 1 Million. This ginseng is one hundred years old ginseng, I will pay 5 millions and the last one is thousand years old ginseng, I will pay 10 millions. How about it?" The woman offered excitedly.

Bai Hu jumped to the counter and speak to Ming Yue. "Make it 15 millions for one thousand years old ginseng, Master."

The woman stiffened, she forgot about Bai Hu's existence for a while now. Ming Yue didn't know that the woman could hear Bai Hu's words so she nervously spoke what Bai Hu said to her, "Um.. since it's one thousand years old ginseng, uh.. how about 15 millions madam?"

'Ai Bai Hu! isn't 15 millions too much?!' Ming Yue complained in her mind.

'Not at all, this woman is trying to cheat on you.' Bai Hu replied, his tone was somewhat cold.

Ming Yue frowned in confusion and made a mental note to ask what made him so uncomfortable as soon as they left the store.

The woman nodded vigorously as if her life was depended on it. "Yes! Deal!" She said in a hurry.

"Do you have a bank account?" asked the woman.

Ming Yue shook her head with a sheepish smile and the woman smiled reassuringly, "Then let's open an account. I will accompany you, wait outside for a bit while I am getting ready."

"I will stay here with the woman, Master." Bai Hu said and Ming Yue nodded. She recalled Bai Hu said something that the woman was trying to cheat on her. Maybe he wanted to make sure the woman wouldn't do anything funny to her.

As soon as Ming Yue exited the store, Bai Hu's eyes glowed in blueish color as he stared at the woman. "What are you doing in this town, Fox?" he asked while releasing his supreme aura.

The woman kneeled in front of the counter where Bai Hu sat on, shivering in fear as she bowed deeply to the ground to greet Bai Hu. "Praise the heaven, this humble one greets the supreme lord of the west, Bai Hu."

"lift your head and answer me, Fox!" Bai Hu ordered with a growl despite his body was a cat.

The woman flinched in fear as she lifted her head and answered in a hurry, " This humble one moved to this city 20 years ago, My Lord and doesn't have any intentions but to sell herbs and cultivate in peace."

Bai Hu stared at the woman for a while before giving his warning. "I trust you for now, but if you have any ill intentions towards my master, I will rip you to pieces!"

The woman trembled in fear. Who wouldn't? Lord Bai Hu governed over some animals with fangs and a supreme ruler of the west heavenly palace. Technically speaking, he was one of the guardian beast of heaven.

"Yes, My lord! This humble one will take the warning to the heart and remember it always!" The woman sincerely vowed before asking a question,

"B-But My Lord.. the young girl just now, is she--"

"Silence! Never mention anything about her!" Bai Hu growled, warning her. "Her existence is confidential. Whatever you think in your head, never let it out of your mouth, understand?"

"Yes, My lord!" The woman replied vigorously before exited the store with Bai Hu on her shoulders.

Qing Long : *sulking* (ー`´ー)

Zhu Que : *Sigh* If you want to go out with Master just say it to her.

Qing Long : but I can't go out in my beast form.. (｀_´)

Zhu Que : Hmm.. true, then how about change it to something else?

Qing Long : Like what?

Xuan Wu : A bracelet! Bai Hu already turned to animal for Master after all~ ƪ(˘⌣˘)┐

Qing Long : A bracelet... (Then I can always touch Master's wrist..) (∩_∩)

Zhu Que : ........ （￣～￣;）(This guy is beyond help..)
