"Don't do this to me Zeus!"

My eyes jolted awake, staring at my ceiling. Another morning, another day, away from my mate. The only thing that hadn't changed was my vision. One where Green held my lifeless body in her arms, crying helplessly. I sat up on the edge of my bed, my head raging with a migraine while my room reeked of nothing but alcohol. I wondered how she was, if she were better off without me or was a mess like me.

I heaved a sigh and then replayed the whole vision again. In a strange way I could feel it coming. I knew this was no longer a nightmare or my fears taking its toll on me. It was a prophecy. I was going to die. My palms curled into a fist as my heart thumped like it was going to explode anytime soon. Fear began its powerful stride in me and I couldn't help but wonder how and why this was happening. Perhaps it was a warning. Perhaps this vision of mine could be averted.
