Chapter:-4

Bright  woke up next morning when a strong breeze displaced the curtains and the sunlight shined bright in his eyes. He stretched and saw that the breeze came from the balcony whose door was open. Ash  was awake. Bright  got up and rubbed his eyes to clear his vision when he saw Ash who was adjusting his thigh holsters while it rested on the sofa. In his half-asleep state, Bright  forgot the trouble in their paradise and wanted to greet Ash when suddenly realization dawned upon him and he sighed, "Never mind". He whispered, rather loudly, attracting Ash attention. On any other day, Ash  lips usually curved into a smile seeing Bright  but today, he stared at him blankly.

"If I don't move in with you, people will start talking", Ash broke the silence between them.

"I can't move in your place with you...if that's what you're getting at", Bright  rolled his eyes. Ash gritted his teeth together and straightened himself up.

"I didn't ask you to. I'll bring in my bags in the evening. I hope that should not be an issue for you, beacuse I know you have a  new girl or boy to fuck every night don't worry I will not disturb you ", Ash smirked.

"You still have the keys...to my place ?", Bright asked getting up from the bed and pulling on his robe.

"I do.", Ash shrugged and groped for the keycard.

"I spoke to the manager last night and the suite is booked for 2 more nights", Bright  informed as Ash poured coffee into a mug.

"Two more nights?", Ash  took a deep breath as he placed his palm on his cheek.

"Fine. Let's play along. We're already too far ahead!", Ash sighed. "I'll see you here in the evening then!", Ash looked at Bright who was adjusted his robe.

Bright nodded while tying the knot of the robe and then looked at Ash . Their eyes looked as if they had been looking at strangers...not two people who were so in love with each other.

Ash finished his coffee and then grabbed the keycard. "I'll keep this ", he pushed the card in his pocket and grabbing his jacket, made his way to the door.

"Stay out of...", Bright  called out to Ash out of habit. He'd always say this to the Ash before their breakup (please stay away from every danger love). Ash shut his eyes as they warmed up with tears while Bright  couldn't complete his statement. Both of them froze in their positions for a few seconds before Ash rushed out and banged the door behind him.

Type  waited for Ash  in his office. He was pacing up and down the room when he heard Type  enter the room. He took out his keycard and rolled his eyes at Type , "The Palace Hotel...really Type ?", he frowned throwing the card on the table.

"How was it?", he joined his hands together and looked at Ash  with hopeful eyes.

"It's the PALACE HOTEL. Of course, it was great", Ash yelled.

"Not the hotel, Ash .... I meant your night...your first night!", he smiled. Ash  pressed his lips together in frustration.

"None of your business, Type"

"Ash!"

"Type ..I have work to do. I can't sit around and dream about my first night!"

"So it was that good?", Type eyes gleamed.

"IT WAS NOTHING, TYPE. NOTHING HAPPENED. WE REACHED AND SLEPT...THAT'S IT!", Ash  almost alerted the entire mansion  with that volume. He was surprised at his own frustration. "Now, would you get me the details on the  attack from 2 nights ago or not?", Ash ordered.

"I'll get it...in a bit. I am sorry", his  voice broke into soft whisper as s

he felt Ash anger and he ran out before it further escalated.

Ash fisted the table really hard as Type left. He closed his eyes tried to drink his anger away but his wedding kept flashing in his mind every time he shut his lids. Pushing away the documents behind, he sat on his chair with a noise and held his head with his hands as his breaths normalized.
