The Nadris
The life of a prey and a predator runs in an everlasting cycle of survival and just as smaller prey animals were being hunted by other larger predator animals and by humans, the same happens in the world of the supernatural and sometimes, this is where the natural and the supernatural collide, this is where reality meets mythical. Whether it was for food or it was for sport or maybe it was for other motives, it went on and on and would not stop as it is blended into nature, balanced or imbalanced.
Humans hunted animals, demons hunted humans, Angels hunted demons and the Angel hunters were a group of mix breed shape shifters who called themselves, the Nadris. But the Nadris were not limited to just Angels, these never before seen and hardly heard of hiddedn creatures could hunt and capture any creature if they wanted to, they were like the police force of the mythical creatures, only that they were not myths, they were just extremely well hidden and it was easy too.NRelated chapters

"Funny how you two are always showing up together." Renard spoke after welcoming both Scott and Dan into his place. He had sent a message the day before to the Nadri elders, requesting for the best huntsman they had for what her needed. The charges had been exorbitant but he had reasoned that it was well worth it. He knew his request was close to impossible but why give up?"Why? Were you expecting someone else perhaps?" Scott asked, settling into one of the leather chairs."No, not that. The elders made it clear to me whom I would be expecting." He waved one hand in the air as he also sat. Leticia's joy was uncontrollable. She jingled like bubbles in a wine glass as she went about getting ready to leave with Liam. Today she would take the step to get closer to her brother, Liam had assured her of that. "And what might you be?" The Nadri had thrown the question to Leo, his eyes fixed on the teenager. Sheila's horse bobbled its head, unable to stay steady, maybe it knew that finding a Nadri, or rather, running into one in the middle of the forest was a sign of danger."Is it not obvious?" Sheila defended.She tried as much as she could to keep her horse in between the Nadri and Leo who remained quiet and observant but the powerful beast she was on would not just stay put. "Luck was on your side Dan, that you encountered a mixed blood almost immediately." An elder spoke up in praise of Dan."But she had Liam with her, that renegade Angel has been on the radar of many creatures. He has himself a lot of enemies." The heavens gave a cry of dissatisfaction, threatening to burst open the floor gates despite the rain that had soaked the ground few hours ago. Leo had been unable to sleep throughout the night in the mountain after their encounter with the half Nadri. He had been worried for Sheila who, for the first time since he knew her, had shown weakness, which made him to wonder what exactly must have happened between her and the Nadir in the forest after he had escaped. He had stayed awake, watching her sleep soundly and had made two trips to the stream to get her some water and back up to the mountain. The water had helped a lot.Now as he watched her get ready to fly back down into the forest, he could almost not believe that she had been the same Angel who had been so weak and unable to walk properly last night. She had woken up first even before him this morning and was her regular strong self, telling him that she would be going back into the forest to get back his cloak which she had dropped last night."I do not understand why you need to go back."
