Chapter 12- Cuts and Bruises

My eyes slowly fluttered open, I looked around and I realised I was no longer in that dark and dirty cell. I was in a white room which I assumed to be a hospital. I looked around the room to see Aurora on the couch next to me, I was hoping it would've been Aspen sitting next to me, holding my hand, waiting for me to open my eyes so he could kiss me.
"Aspen?" I said to Aurora, my voice coming out raspy.
"I'll go find him, do you want a glass of water?" I nodded as she walked out of them room.
I took of the blanket off of my legs because I was starting to get warm, I gasped at the bandages that covered my legs. You could see the blood that was trying to escape the bandages.
