Isabella's POV

I avoided Carter the whole week, when he called I didn't answer. I thought he would call my desk and summon me to his office since he is my boss and all but he didn't he only called my private number 3 three times and when I didn't answer or return his calls he didn't call again.

So I put myself into my work, keeping myself busy. It's finally Saturday, today is my grandmother's charity gala event. It was one of those big parties, the kind where so many A list people are invited that you're only going to know a handful of people there. Usually my dad, my grandmother and I go to this parties as a family together but this time I told them I'll meet them there.
