His Tough Love: Expulsion

The doors flung open as Tae Rin Stepped into the school's hallway. She felt a hundred pairs of eyes on her, mostly malicious, some confused and a few sympathetic. If looks could kill she'd probably be dead over a hundred times by now.

"I can't believe she came back here after all she had done, so shameless!"

"You saw the video too?. Hmph, an insignificant fly claiming to be the heiress of the Yang family!"

"It's just the effects of a fool's bravery."

"Yeah, hell's the only place suitable for her."

"Gosh, what's that smell. I feel like I'm gonna puke my guts out."

"Ugh, I think it's coming from Tae Rin."

"Has she gotten so crazy, that she can't do something as simple as taking a bath?"

Hushed voices spoke in the background, not daring to say it in the face of Tae Rin, who looked like she was ready to commit murder.

She didn't blame them though, she indeed smelled really bad as it was a luxury for someone like her to have a proper bath when she didn't even have a humane place to live in.

Ignoring many other spiteful comments, she walked bravely into the class and sat on her designated chair. An immediate reaction was gotten from her classmates as they promptly got six feet away from her emphasising on her pungent odour. She didn't mind her quarantined situation at all, she only wanted to face her studies squarely and pass her entrance exams.

Moments later a tall slim figured, preppy girl stood in front of Tae Rin's desk covering her nose with a white, silk handkerchief, obviously irritated by her appearance. It was the class monitor.

"Tae Rin...ugh, the principal calls for you. He wants you to come immediately." She spat out, displeased that she had to be the one to talk to Tae Rin.

She turned on her heels as soon as the words got out of her mouth not giving Tae Rin any chance to refute. Tae Rin followed in silence.

'The principal just ordered Tae Rin to his office. What's that about?'

'Hopefully, to expel her, that sure would be nice.'

'Yeah, it's for the best. I don't think I can stand her presence any longer.'

The class monitor stood out as Tae Rin got into the office. The principal looked up from his desk as soon as he got in, as the odour she emitted was impossible to ignore.

"I've gotten reports that you've been causing disturbances in the school's premises." He said cutting to the chase.

Seeing that Tae Rin didn't respond, he continued.

"I've also seen the numerous disgraceful acts you've portrayed in the media. Such actions aren't tolerated in this reputable citadel of learning. It would only drag this school's name to the mud."

Tae Rin looked extremely nervous. There was no way this conversation was going to have a happy ending.

"Miss Tae Rin, you've been expelled from this institution and from now henceforth would no longer be a student of this school. Please do the needful and leave your school I.d among other things with the bursar."

Tae Rin was terror stricken, all the courage and indifference she had gathered as a buffer to face this day was diminished. She had expected a bit of scolding and if it escalated, suspension. She couldn't afford to be expelled especially when the entrance exams were fast approaching.

"Please, Sir you couldn't possibly think of expelling me. Isn't it a bit too harsh? I had just paid my outstanding fees recently, besides I really need to sit for my entrance exams. Couldn't you wait a bit longer for this student to write her exams first?." Tae Rin begged relentlessly.

"There is no room for discussion. You should have thought about these before angering the Yang family. I can only do this much. Please leave my office." He thundered irritably, sending her out and slammed the door behind her.

'Did you hear, Class captain Ae Cha from Class X said that Tae Rin is being expelled.'

"It's quite pitiful that she doesn't get to write the exams." Another said in mock sympathy.

'Ha, like she was gonna pass it anyways. Her grades have always been so poor.'

'Shush, she is coming this way.'

Overwhelmed by all the negative happenings Tae Rin ran to the school's rooftop place she and Min Seok would meet for tutorship, away from the public eye. she needed to clear her head to know what next line of action she would assimilate. She would never give up, not yet.

She took out her phone once more and clicked on the first contact on her chats.

"Min Seok let's meet on the rooftop. We need to talk." She sent.

In seconds she had gotten a reply "Let's break up Tae Rin"

Somehow, Tae Rin wasn't surprised at his heartless reply. Today was a cursed day after all. Her heart had gone cold and there were no tears left to shed. Even at this turn of events, she would persevere, now that she had nothing to lose there wasn't anything to stop her from achieving her goals.

"Look over there, it's the bully Tae Rin" A pink haired girl yelled from the trio approaching.

Tae Rin recognised them, they were friends of Ji Yoo, her mortal enemy.

"Don't tell us you are going to commit suicide." Another taunted.

'You wish'

"If it's about Min Seok, you can have him. We aren't together anymore." Tae Rin replied sincerely wondering how they found her since where she was pretty hidden.

"You slut!!!" The first yelled, visibly provoked, grabbing Tae Rin's hair.

"What do you mean we can have him. Did you not know you were the other woman. Min Seok and Ji Yoo have been engaged for marriage for over five years.

"Engaged?" Tae Rin muttered as her face turned pale. Min Seok was engaged all along?.

"Yes bitch, don't act so surprised. You seduced Min Seok away from his fiancee, you homewrecker" She replied angrily, kicking Tae Rin in the stomach, how dare she pretend to be oblivious in front of her.

"Ouch" Tae Rin winced in pain as she spat out blood, this girl had kicked her really hard.

"Not so feisty today are we, you dumb bitch!!" Another said slamming Tae Rin's head into a nearby barricade.

Tae Rin couldn't retaliate as she was lost in her own thoughts, the pain in her heart overshadowed the physical pain coming in the forms of incessant brutal attacks.

She was the other woman all along. Hah such a fool she had been sacrificing all she had for that bastard. Min Seok you really fooled this young miss. 

"Ha...ha, he he he he he, I've been so gullible, maybe I deserve this kind of ending" she screamed from heart ache.

"She can still laugh in this situation. My gosh, she really had gone crazy. This isn't enough for you huh, hit her harder." The first commanded

5 minutes later…

They had beaten the deranged Tae Rin into a pulp. Her uniform was torn and bloody, her face unrecognizable and her body burned from pain at each part.

"Let's stop, I think if we hit her any longer she might just die," One said fearfully.

"Yeah, don't be rash. She had learnt her lesson anyway." Another supported.

"Gosh she isn't resisting any longer, let's get out from here before we are framed, murderers".

With that, they left in a hurry leaving Tae Rin to her Fate.

In the end, she lost to the cruel world. Tae Rin knew she was going to be dead cold before anyone would notice her absence and send her to the hospital. She wasn't going to give it victory over her own death, NEVER. 'My life and death belongs in my hands alone.'

Tae Rin dragged herself to the very edge of the roof with all the strength she could garner, tipping over.

THUD!!!

"Dad...at last this daughter of yours would come visit, make room for me" She whispered as she felt her consciousness slip away.
