Past Revival - Him

Present Time...

She was going through her Snapchat memories.

Those photos were from the last day of her first semester.

Her selfies, pictures with whole class, the happy moments of her group friends and with Rabeel.

Seeing her selfies with her, the clips of her happy memories flow through her mind but end at the sad note. What she did to her leaves a thorn in her heart forever.

At times she thinks, why she did all this to her. But she already knows all the answers.

She put down her mobile and let her back rest on the sofa.

She already has so much issues in her life to sort out. She does not have time for the past.

As she thinks that her past has only added to her miseries. She has to survive in her present.

Her 22nd birthday is coming up soon but before that she had to get a job.

The reminder tone of her mobile reminds her that her interview is in 2 hours.

She had to get ready. She needs this job, if not for money, then for her peace.

After some time, she gets ready. She looked in the mirror for final look. Satisfied with her look she grabs her file from the bed and her mobile from the sofa.

There was a message on W******p.

"Hey sweetie!

I know you will crash it.

I believe in you.

Now go and I want to hear the good news in evening from you.

Best of luck dear!"

"Thank you, Nisha. ❤❤" She replied to her.

This girl always brings a smile on her face. And this time, she also smiled at the memory of the early days of her acquaintance with her.

How she is always annoyed by her presence. But this girl was always there for her. In her darkest times, when she had no love and no friends to go to, she appears like an angel to her.

After realizing her importance, back in her university days, Ansha had always cherished this pure bond with her.

At S.D Group & Companies Headquarters...

She reached her destination, and looked at the massive building.

Just as she expected, full of glory.

To get a job here is a dream of every jobless, student and even of jobholders in other company.

Each floor is dedicated to one department. Eventually top floor is only for CEO. That floor is only access by handful employees. Except these employees which includes top most staff, no other employees have never been to this floor. If someone is summoned to top floor then it is said that he is about to be blessed.

Last 2 years for S.D Group & Companies, are considered as of great luck for the business and the reason behind its success was its new CEO, who just after taking the position, doubled its turnover within 3 months. And from that time onwards its worth is only increasing.

"You can do it Ansha!" She tried to cheer herself up and enter.

He was just formally checking the interviews for the new employees when he saw her giving interview in the IT department.

He stopped for a moment. Everything got blurred and she remains in focus.

Seeing her after 2 years was really a surprise to him. He stares at her through the glass of the cabin unable to process that it is reality or he was again thinking about her.

She was confidently giving her best but was oblivious to his presence.

She was as same just like the last time as he remembers. Just a little bit more mature. And always clueless to his presence.

He smiled with hurt obvious on his face. But in a moment, he again takes control of his emotions.

"She is always like this. It was always a mistake to think that she too loves me. I fall for her from the first moment I saw her and what she did to me? Just cruelly broke my heart."

He walked out from there and goes back to his office.

After the interview she was told to leave as she will be contacted if she is selected or needed to give 2nd interview.

As she was leaving the place, she feels someone intense stare upon her. She looks back but except the building and random people, she saw nothing suspecting.

Thinking it's just an illusion, she finally left. Unknown to the fact that he was watching her from his cabin's full-size window.

There was so much intensity in his eyes but full of hatred. His personal assistant was staring at him. Seeing him like that he was too scared, despite of the fact that he was working for him for many years and owning the fact that he knows him well.

"Bring me the full report of today's interviews." He orders him.

"Yes Sir!" Nodding his head, he goes out.

After coming out, he takes a breath full of relief as the pressure inside was unbearable for him.

In half an hour, the report was presented to him.

He saw her name in that department's selected candidates. Her skills were exactly that, what were required for the job.

He closes the report and smiled. But that was not exactly the smile. There was fire in his eyes and within that fire there was only hate.

"I want a full report of her life specially of the last 2 years.

You have to do this again Rushd". He delivered the last sentence looking him in the eyes.

Listening the word again, he became suspicious.

He opens the report and after looking through the names, her name catches his attention.

Now he finally understands the changed behavior of his boss.

4 years back when he prepares her report, he wasn’t aware of her relation with the boss so he was not so careful. But this time, he had to be careful, more than ever. He just doesn’t want to see his boss going through pain once more. As he doesn't want to hide nothing from him, he was little bit afraid for his boss who is like a friend to him. And some times, he had to take a move as an older brother.

He remembers how worst his boss state was in 2 years back. And now she appeared again in his life and not for only once but by becoming his permanent employee.

"When she will be joining?" He asked without any emotion.

"If the acceptance call will be given tomorrow then she can join 2 days later."

"OK! I want to see her on her desk 2 days later."

"It will be done Sir!"

"Better be done!"

Later in that night....

His night was once again sleepless today.

These restless nights, full of her memories were always too much for him.

His love becomes hate in one of these nights. 2 years of loving her and now 2 years marked for hating her.

But she doesn't care.

She never cares for his love.

But now she will see his hatred for her.

She chooses it herself. He is not to be blame for how much she was about to go through.

He gives her a chance back then and back out without saying a word to her. And she doesn't cherish this chance as she is again in his premises.

He also thinks about her reaction when she will see him first time in this company. What emotions would pass through her face. He wants to see that.

Not out of love, he was doing this just for his hatred for her.

He assured himself.
