Chapter 3

Our Impenetrable Love

Chapter 3: GNV PH

FOR THE NTH TIME that day, Genevieve sighed. She’s been letting out these sighs all day due to her stressful work. From buyers suddenly cancelling their new orders, to bashful posts on social media because of that one post, she’s been in front of her laptop all day replying to messages.

Mabuti at may natira pang halos 60 orders. But thinking how it’s gone from 100+ orders to just 60 sucks on her part.

And yes, she does everything alone and refuses to get help from people. This is what she does for a living, anyway.

She’s been packing the rest of her orders since early afternoon and it’s already 8 in the evening.

So far, she’s packed around 35 orders. She’s also known for sending pictures out to her clients before shipping them, kaya kailangan niya munang picture-an ito isa-isa at ipadala at makiusap sa kanila bago niya maayos. Kahit dagdag stress ang paggawa nito, it’s an extra step on her part that a lot of buyers appreciate. They get to see their items before it gets to them.

She was supposed to turn this into a closet before, but she really needed that extra space for her growing business.

She scoffed. Growing pa ba ‘to? This is going to make such a huge dent in her business!

She specializes on women’s clothes that makes them feel comfortable and sexy, no matter their body shape is. Marami rin silang nagtanggol sa kan’ya, which surprisingly changed the views of others.

From GNV PH, replying to Helen:

We sincerely apologize that you aren’t fully satisfied with our products. However, we sent you the first and last draft of the design and you returned happily, telling us you’re in favor of the design and material. What we sent you is the actual product that pictures and colors may slightly differ, however the material and design did not change. We hope you send us a direct message should you have any other concerns with our products and service. Thank you, Ma’am Helen!

‘Sinong we?’ Napaisip siya. Siya lang naman ang gumagawa ng lahat. But it sounds more professional to say ‘we’ because it kind of means she has her own team helping her on this.

She has rent for her place, food and essentials, at karamihan sa pera niya ay napupunta sa online shopping. She loves shopping online and uses it as a way to relieve her stress aside from gaming.

“Matatapos ko pa ba ‘to ngayon?” she yawned.

She can’t handle all this with a back of an old woman! As long as that person knows the boundaries between work and personal life and won’t ask too many questions, pwedeng-pwede na iyon.

She likes talking to herself anyway and pretending there’s a camera in front of her like she’s vlogging. Ganito talaga siguro kapag wala masyadong nakakausap.

“Okay!” She clapped her hands and stretched her back before closing the windows in her work room. Pumapasok na ang mga lamok doon kaya bukas na niya iyon tatapusin, she just has to wake up extra early to finish late afternoon.

Piles of receipts are on her floor to stick on the packages, her inventory of clothes are neatly arranged on multiple shelves that filled one wall of her room, and on the other are all freebies and packaging materials. She did her evening rituals before laying in her bed, grateful for the soft cushion.

“Pwede na maglaro!” She exclaimed, getting her earphones and turning her LED lights on for a more relaxing ambiance.

She first checked any of their clan members if they’re online and playing, pero dahil marami sila sa clan na iyon, napasimangot siya nang mapansing hindi niya ka-close ang mga online.

VS or Voracious Snakes is a clan with over 50 members. Kung sino ang nagpangalan ay hindi niya kilala dahil nag-try out lang siya rito last year at natanggap agad siya nang matalo niya sa 1v1 ang clan master. Since then, she’s close with over 8 members, and that’s probably it.

Jas is her closest friend in VS, and probably her favorite online friend too. Their friendship has gotten to the point where they could already spill secrets to each other.

She checked her game notifications and her brows instantly creased when she saw a particular notification.

XhyroGaming added VS : Gen

Ngumisi siya. Pag-tripan nga natin ang isang ‘to! She hit the check button to indicate that she already accepted him as a friend in the game, but she instantly regretted the decision when a message popped.
