Chapter 20 - Confusion

His arms were wrapped around my waist. His face was just a few inches away from mine. I can smell the scent of sugar and honey from his breath. My heart was beating so fast and I could feel the heat from my body growing. I don't know if it was because of the wine or because of him that I felt my knees weaken.

"Emily, are you drunk?" He asked, frowning.

"N-No. I'm okay." I said simply.

I stared at his face as if memorizing every detail. When I looked at his lips, I bit my lips.

"I told you don't do that." He said in a hoarse voice.

Is it just me or is he also getting flustered? I didn't say a word and just bit my lips again. Then he pushed me in the corner where no one could see us. His body was now pressing mine, my back
