“K-Kyle, I -” 

He brushed his hand to my face and smiled.

“Did I surprise you? I’m not forcing you to say yes. If you’re not ready, I’ll wait for you. I haven’t bought a ring for you, I’m sorry.” He chuckled.

“No. That’s not it. I really wanted to marry you. But are you sure you’re okay with me? I mean I was engaged once, some people might think of me differently. It might damage your reputation.” I said, looking into his eyes.

“You know, I don’t care about that. You’ve been my dream, Emily. If anyone tries to say something about you, they will have to face me. I will protect you.” He said.

I could see the love in his eyes and that he was serious. I really wanted to be with him forever. I’m just having second though
