Lea had a sunken face before and after Ann left but Ann didn’t take note of it. She had been sad all along thinking of the ring she saw in Brent's bag. She had seen it and she knew that Brent wanted to propose to Ann.
How could she have looked shadowly at everything that was going on? Brent was clearly in love with Ann and she was just the stick in their friendship.
