The beginning of a new day

The night was clear and the only thing you could see was the group of men in a huddle.  As Shaye and her girls got closer they noticed that the men where gambling.  

“Gurl, I mean if that was me I would have told him to stick it in the next bitch."  

"But he didn't mean it like that Tasha" , said Shaye, "He just acts like an ass and I'm not putting up wit it anymore, I told him that it was over. But I feel like I'm giving up on our relationship but I know it's what I need to do so, we ladies are going out this weekend."

"Ladies I think that Shaye is getting back in the game of dating," said Keisha.

"Some of us are happy for you, just be careful gurl....." said Tekina.

As the girls walked past, they didn't notice but the dudes stop what they were doing to watch them. One of the guys was trying to holla at Shaye, but she just kept it moving because she had just got out of a relationship and she wasn't ready for another one yet.

Tasha tapped her on her back and blasted her, “Bitch what’s yo malfunction that was Kacey and dude was trying to holla at you."

"Tash I know his type and I ain't tryin to be back where I jus came from, and that's in a dead end relationship with a dude who is still a D- boy."

"Gurl you just don't know a good thing when you see one, that nigga right there is an ex d- boy,he owns three legal businesses and part owner of that nightclub that be doing numbas down there at the old  complex. By the way we need to hit up that spot this weekend." Said Keisha.

"Cool, so what time we meeting up...... bout 10."

They all agreed and each jumped in their cars and went their seperate ways.

When Shaye got home, she ran a bath and put her favorite bath oil Love Spell by Victoria Secret in the water, and put her favorite jams on.  While bathing she listen to Monica, Keyshia Cole, Tamia, and Melanie Fionna.  Because she agreed with them about love and heartache.  She knew she didn't love J but she loved the relationship they had when he wasnt being an asshole. She now was old enough to know what she wanted out of life and what she didn’t have time for no man who was acting like a boy.

She knew who Kacey was even before her girls described him and his business portfolio, she just was scared of getting hurt again. She knew that that was the real reason why she didn't want to get into anotha relationship this quick.

She got out of the tub and let her body air dry while she wrapped her hair and pinned it up. She got into bed and started reading Lashonda Devaughn's new book. She soon fell asleep
