Minerva opened her eyes and what greeted her was the sight of her father as he quietly read a book on the corner.
It seemed that he felt her gaze as he suddenly looked in her direction. When he saw that she was awake, he placed the book on the side and leaned on her to caress her hair.
"Were you okay now?" He asked. Minerva pursed her lips and nodded her head.
"Daddy…"
"Hmm?" He softly made a sound. She didn't say anything and just stared at him.
Minerva wanted to say that she didn't want to go to the academy. But what if her father wanted her to enroll? What would she do? Would she defy him?
