"Little Miss…" Cassie was lost for words. 

"Little Miss, where did you hear those?" She worriedly asked. Minerva glanced at Harika whose head was tilted to the side as it stared at her.

"Wash my mommy dead?" She asked again.

Minerva didn't want to ask about her mother despite her curiosity. But since she already slipped her tongue, she might as well ask it further.

She already had a hunch that her mother was dead. But she refused to accept it unless they were confirmed by them–especially her father.

Now, she wanted to know the truth.

"Why did you say that your mother was dead?"

Minerva stiffened and slowly turned her head from behind her. She didn't know that her father heard her words!
