He stands in front of me staring me down and waiting for me to answer. I have the answer in my head but I don’t know how to voice it out. And I can’t let him know he’s right again, which he always is.

EMA Smiling slightly, I make my way to the kitchen to get my ice cream from the fridge. The house is not big so I can hear him from the kitchen. “Do you want to share my ice cream? So I can get you a spoon as well” “Of course. As the sun rises in the early morning, the sounds of the birds whistle on the trees and the soft wind blowing across the window.
