A Lonely Girl

15-year-old Shama ran upstairs to her apartment. She wore shabby clothes and her hair was wrecked. Her hands were dirty with mud. A tiny cupcake was in one of her hand which was half burnt and the other hand had a little doll made up of mud. She grabbed two candles in her mouth as she ran to the rooftop.

Shama reached the rooftop and sat there. She went inside a little tent made up of shabby cloth. Many books and handmade items decorated it. A little lamp glowed in the dark. Shama took out a photo of her mother, father and grandpa.

She blew the dust off from the photo. Shama placed the photo in front of her. She placed the cupcake and inserted two candles on the top of it. She took out a matchstick and burnt the candle.

"Happy Birthday to me, happy birthday to me. Happy birthday to my happy soul. Happy birthday to me. May God bless me, may God bless me. May God bless me with all the happiness. Happy birthday to me. YAHOO!!!"

Shama sang loudly and clap
