Festival Season

Shama was taking a walk in the garden to get some fresh morning air. Just then her eyes fell on Chandrika. She was standing at a distance place between the woods.

“What is she doing there?”

Shama murmured as she walked close to her. It looked like Chadrika was talking to someone. Shama went to Chandrika but now there was no one.

“Who were you talking to?”

Shama asked suspiciously.

“I…was…talking to…tree.”

Chandrika said a bit hesitating.

“Tree?”

“Yeah, you know trees can listen to everything we say. I didn’t have anyone to talk with since my childhood. So I talk to trees whenever I am sad or worried about something. Trees are my best friends.”

Chandrika said smiling as she gently patted the tree. Shama smiled at Chandrika.

“What is it that’s troubling you right now?”

Shama asked. But Chandrika was silent. She didn’t reply anything. Her face expression was also a serious and sad one. Shama grabbed

How many of you have went to villiages? How was your experience? Did you enjoy? I went once when I was 7 or 8 years old. It was really fun. I don't remember everything clearly but still I enjoyed there. I want to go there once more...(:(
