THIRTY NINE

After being on the road in the harsh winter for almost the whole day, the group reached the small town on the border of Xi empire with Tibet kingdom. Even though the sunlight was still visible, Ashina Helu slowed down their pace and looked around for a place to stay that night. 

He lifted up his fist for the horse carriage behind him to slow down as soon as he found a lodge that did not appeal to any visitors. After the horse carriage finally stopped, he jumped down from his horse and let Ah Tui take care of his horse while Ah Wei went inside the lodge to ask if there were any rooms available for them. 

The environment at Yong town was a mixture of cultures. Therefore the people there did not find it strange to see a mixed family. People might just assume Ashina Helu has two wifes and was travelling with his men.
