THIRD PERSON'S POV

Xander didn't answer her for a moment.
Scar got worried by this.She feared she might have asked something stupid, something which might make him suspicious of her.
Might make him doubt her.She looked down and started eating her pancake silently when he spoke the word that both made her heart warm but her mind tense.
"No." His answer was a "no."
This gave her a strange happiness. She felt good on knowing he won't divorce her but she wasn't able to quite identify the reason behind her being happy for this.
She should feel frustrated instead for he won't divorce her but she's feeling happiness over that.It confused her to the core.
Her own feelings were playing with her."But why?" She dared to ask him this.

His Triantáfyllo would never do such a thing. She's strong and always find solutions to her problems, there's no reason she would try to kill herself.Xander refused to believe it.
