SCARLETT'S POV

There were only roses, petals of roses in the tray.
And due to fall, they all scattered around.
I was confused. There aren't any rings there laying around.
Were...were there not any rings?
What? What's happening?
"No rings!" Molly exclaimed.
She looked pleasantly happy at this."Ohh, no rings means no engagement, right?" She didn't even try to hide the fact how pleasant she is right now.
I wanted to punch her face.
"No,Molly. What are you saying?" Shelly also fake gasped.

My chest was rising up and down in anger. I took a deep breath to calm myself down.
Xander on sensing my condition, squeezed my hand softly as if to assure me nothing is going to happen.
