Chapter 24

NOLAN

I was chatting with Bethany when I saw them walked in. Ella was the first I saw. She smiled and I smiled back. I wanted to ask after Olive but I decided against it. Olive walked in some seconds later. I batted my lashes. I was lost staring at her. She was dressed in a black skirt and white shirt. That was the first time I saw her dressed in a female cloth. She looked so beautiful, though her hair was short. Ella chuckled and winked at me. I smiled and continue my chat with Beth. I was curious to know Olive's reaction, so I stared at her from the side view. I could tell she was becoming uncomfortable. I wasn't sure if it was because I was talking to Beth or because she wasn't used to wearing female clothing. I ended my chat with Beth and gestured to Ella to follow me. As I went upstairs, I could hear Olive talking to Beth. I ignored them and went to the office.
