Chapter 99
While Gonzalo, Darryl, and their men are all in Jericho, Tasha decided to visit her parents in New Mexico. She wanted to pass her available time until they come back. Her parents were so happy to see her again. But, they also worry about Patricia. Now that they know about Patricia and Gonzalo's way of life.
She arrived in New Mexico by midnight, but her parents didn't mind. Her mother even cooked for her, and her father baked her favorite cake for desert. Tasha is happier to see her parents now, than when she hasn't accepted the death of her sister. Before, whenever she come to see her parents, she can't help but feel the guilt.
"You don't have to do this, guys. Sun's almost up." Tasha said to her parents.
"Oh, honey. It's been months since the last time that I cooked for you." Her mother responded.
"Your mother is right, Tasha. Just let us do this for you."
"I love you, guys. I love you so much."
The three of them hugged each other tightly.
