Chapter 35
Patricia decided to stay with Levi when he fell asleep. She felt terrible for what happened to his beautiful face. Almost his whole face is swollen and bruised. Both his brows and lips have cuts. As Patricia watch him sleep, she realized how Levi cared for her.
When Patricia noticed the dried blood on Levi's face, she went to the bathroom to get a water basin and a wet towel. Carefully, Patricia cleaned Levi's face. She lightly wipes the dried blood, trying not to wake him up. Levi reeks of alcohol that she's not even sure how long he's been drinking. The sound of the doorbell interrupted Patricia.
"Oh! Uh—hi! We're ah—we're Levi's best friends." Said the two men standing outside Levi's front door.
