[Lily]

I sat on my bed exhausted after reaching home late at night thinking over and over about if my parents will ever have second thoughts about marrying me to that cruel man. I had given up on asking them to give it a thought. I had no say in this marriage which involve me Ironically.

I look at my unpacked bag sitting in front of me and look at my phone.

I shook my head almost slapping myself, tears leak down my cheeks. I would be back in that town next month as soon as my father is done with his work.

I go downstairs, maybe to check if they were awake. Maybe to see if I could pull it off. Running away, I wanted to see if they were asleep. I gulp as I see my mother clearing the plates and grab a pack of chocolates we bought on the way home.

"Why aren't you in bed yet Lily?" I looked down in fear,

"I am just exhausted and wanted a little snack," I said causing her to roll her eyes.
