Chapter Thirteen

I've been avoiding him the whole week. I ignore his stares in class and pretend to listen to my lectures when all that's on my mind is him.

I thought I could make the best out of the new opportunity I got but no, I've migrated from the scary dreams and the invisible being that torments my sleep to him and the strange wolfs I kept on seeing every night.

He's now my main distraction. I can't read without seeing his imaginary face in my textbook, and my mind isn't helping, it kept on playing tricks on me.

Sometimes in the night, I will think I heard his voice, but most times, it's just a wolf howling in the distance.

The last time I opened my window in the night, I saw a small black wolf with green shiny eyes right outside my window, and a few seconds later, it got tackled to the ground and was torn to shred by a grey wolf with red eyes, whose fur reflects the glowing night moon.
