Chapter: 14 (Evil game plan)
Seher's POV:
After freshening up I came to the living room. He had already prepared lunch and set the dining table for me. I took a seat opposite to him and served myself.
There's an awkward silence between us then he broke the silence " Are you alright? " He asked and I could feel the concern in his voice. "Yeah... I am fine" I answered.
After having lunch together he stood up and came towards me. "I need to go to the office now if you need anything so you have my number right just give me a call and I will be there for you" He said while caressing my cheeks and hugged me making my heartbeat stop at the moment. Then he took his car keys and left.
I was wondering, what's gotten into him? Why was he so caring towards me all of a sudden? I shrugged my thoughts and took all the used dishes and went to the kitchen and dumped them in the sink.
