Mysterious Well

As I walked into the deep woods and bushes. I can feel the morning breeze on my skin. The tingling sensation on my nostril everytime i breath indicating a cold air.

From the trees, I can hear the birds chirping happily. It's such a nice sound to hear first thing in the morning. Sun where are you? I'm so excited to see you.

A smile suddenly curved on my lips.

"I will just take a quick bath." I mumbled while walking. I was hymning a lullaby my favorite lullaby. From the distance. I already spotted the well. It's really looked old.

Is this well from ancient times? Is it still from the gods and goddesses? My mother will kill me if she found out that i've been here. I laughed at my thought.

It's the forbidden well.

Well, nothings odd here, Aside from it looks old. It has a roof that looks so old and the strings that pulls the water upwards.

It looks like an old well from the witches or the wishing well from the gods and goddesses.

I pulled the water upwards in a gentle way and it makes a little creepy sound.

I touched the water it so cold and refreshing. The water here is something.

It seems that whoever touched or drink the water will woke up from a deep sleep or spell.

Me and my thoughts ..

I looked around and spot the wild weeds and flowers. They are so adorable.

They add creepiness or life to the well. It depends on the person who will see it.

I looked into the well. The water is so clear. I can see the colorful stones underneath.

I felt something on my eyes that make it sting. Suddenly, tears rolled on my cheeks.

My tears hit the water in the well and made a tiny sound. A little wave was formed.

Seconds has passed as i keep starring the water in the well.

It starting to form a face. Oh! It's me.

No! Something is wrong.

Yes. It's me but why the hell am i wearing a wild animals skin?

My face? Why do i look like in agony, longing and pain?

No. It Wasn't what I'm wearing right now!

My face was in shocked as what I have witness but her face didn't change.

She's looking at me.

Why does my heart starting to ache at the sight of her?

No. This is just a hallucination or a nightmare.

I closed my eyes tightly.

One, two, three, four, five.

She's already  wearing a white silk gown. She's standing at the stream with a wild deer on her side.

Butterfly on her shoulders and her back.

What is she?

She looks like a fairy.

She's looking at someone.

A guy, A guy that has good physique, Broad shoulders but why does he has a black spot on his back. It's look like a birth mark.

He was about to turned around.

"Neigh! Neigh! Neigh!" A sound of a horse. I was pulled back from my reverie.

Inhale, Exhale, Inhale, Exhale.

I looked at the horse.

"Pegasus! Is it you? Haha! I missed you. What are you doing here? Where's my mother, huh?" I went closed to him and touch his forehead where the crescent moon is located. Pegasus is our horse since i was young.

"Wait. I will just take a quick bath, Pegasus and will head back home." I said while messing his hair.

Maybe I'm just still sleepy a while ago. There is no such thing!

That's plain ridiculous.

There's no such fantasy.

"Hiyaaah! Let's go, Pegasus!" I ride on Pegasus back. I miss riding a horse.

Pegasus starting to run way back home.

He seems know where his place is.

"Where have you been? I've been knocking on your door, Artemis."

"I was in the well to take a bath. We ran out of water, Mother." I said while headingon my room to change my clothes. My clothes are dripping.

She get a ragged and started to wipe my footprints.

"Is she my guardian angel? She really looks like me. Is our guardian angel look like us? Who is that guy?" I said while putting my clothes on. I was bothered by that vission a while ago. It doesn't like to go away from my mind.

Suddenly the doorknob move. Someone is going inside my room and I'm sure it's my mother.

"How many times do I have to tell you that don't go on that damn well, Artemis? I keep on saying you that. I keep on reminding you, Artemis. You are not listening." She look pissed. I was a bit scared by my mother facial expression.

"At least you have to tell me why, Mother. Isn't it odd? You will just don't go there nye-nye! Why, Are you scared? Haha!"  I said. she's starting to become annoying. No. What did i just said? It was not what im about to say. It wasn't me.

I can't control my mouth.

"Go out and eat you seems so hungry." She said while turned her back on me and leave.

I feel so cold all of a sudden. My lips are trembling and I Can't say a word.

Roasted chicken, Roasted  pork and Boiled egg was served.

"I met some hunters and they gave me that. It's a wild boar and a wild chicken. Have some before you leave, again." She said and she's about to tear up. Her eyes suddenly become watery.

What's with her?

But before I could say a word. My hands starting to pick the wild chicken legs and the wild boar skin.

Wait. I don't eat those!

Why is it I can't control my body?

It seems that they have their own life.

"How can she cooked this roasted wild chicken and roasted wild boar in a short time? Hunters, there's no such thing here." I said but nothings comes out of my mouth.

What the hell is happening?

I can't control myself. My body is keep on eating but mind is contradicting.

"Why did you summon me here?" I said while chewing the foods.

But that's not what I'm supposed to say.

"I didn't. Just eat and leave." It was my mother. She looks so serious but longing was written all over her face.

"Don't be scared. I won't harm her. She's me." What did i just said? F*ck! This is creepy.

A nightmare?

"Are you done? Leave!" It was my mother. Is she telling me to leave?

"I will come back again when the right time comes, mother."  What the hell did I just say? I can't control my mouth.

I feel strange. I suddenly felt so cold, Unexplainable cold.

I starting to fell dizzy.

What's wrong with me? Am I going to die?

"No. You are not. What a ridiculous being." It was a voice from nowhere.

"Who the hell are you? What's this place? I can't see anything." I can't say any word but I can hear a voice from nowhere. It was my voice and that's my thoughts.

My mouth doesn't work but I just heard my thoughts and my voice.

"You are me. We're just one. I'm your memory and we're both cursed by the goddess damn Selene."  She said.

"Show me yourself. Is this a dream?" I said. I can't feel my body.

"No. It wasn't a dream but a damn nightmare, sweetheart. I will show  myself to you in a right time. In that right time, you are fully mine. We will make them pay." It was my voice but it wasn't me.

What is she saying?

I saw her back. The girl in the stream that has a butterfly in her shoulder.

"Wake up. Mother is so worried of us. I'll visit you soon." She said.

Ugh! I woke up while catching my breath. What the hell was that? A nightmare.

"You already awake? Come and eat breakfast with me." It was my mother. She looks worried but she's trying to hide it.

I looked outside of my window. It's already open.

It's still early in the morning and my hair is dry.

I'm wearing different clothes from my dream. It's still morning and my hair are still dry. Maybe it was just a nightmare.
