Chapter 11

I thought life would be less hard for me once I finally finish college. Little did I know, the real struggle is just about to maul me right on the face.

It’s been a year and a half since I graduated from school but finding a regular job for me is like squeezing myself through a needle’s hole. I had quite a few, but all ended up badly so I was either fired or I resigned myself. I thought everything would be easier with a diploma but I guess I should’ve studied a little harder. I witnessed how top students who graduated with multiple awards are favored better compared to us who just did our best to strive out of college.

I plopped on my old mattress, groaning out in frustration. For a very long time, I’ve been dreaming to move out of this freaking house but couldn’t do it since I’m broke and doesn’t have a stable work. Though, just like in college, I never run out of side jobs but I know that wouldn’t be enoug
