SIRIUS Athens. We decided it’s better to explore Greece further before hopping to the next country that we haven’t decided on just yet. I plopped down tiredly on the soft mattress of the hotel room as soon as we got in. We haven’t made any itinerary for Athens just yet. I guess we’ll just go wherever our feet and money brings us tomorrow. I called for a dinner before rummaging on my bag, beginning to feel sticky all over my body. I told Astra to answer the door once the dinner arrive but she seemed too engross on her phone. I’m not sure what she’s doing in there but I hope it’s not internet related thing or I’ll be forced to snatch that from her. I stepped inside the bathroom with my towel and toiletries. I washed my face and shaved my growing stubble. I was just about to remove my shorts when I heard the doorbell resounded. And then again… and again. What the fuck is Astra doing? Can’t she hear the doorbell? I sighed in annoyance before leaving the bathroom to check on the door
ASTRA “Go home,” I whispered at Sirius munching on a chicken drumstick beside me while holding a big bucket on his lap. We were at the couch side by side inside the hospital room. It’s already ten in the evening but he’s still here and really acting like the hospital is a freaking playground! He would leave the room occasionally but would come back twenty minutes later with bags of food! As a result, the single couch beside us was already full since they wouldn’t fit anymore on the bedside table! “Well aren’t you so rude, Astra? Can’t you see that I’m eating here?” I glared at him and slightly nudged him, but he only winced shortly and went back to munching again. “And how else do you think I would go home? I didn’t bring my car. Don’t tell me you’d suggest I take a private transpo?” “Why don’t you call your manager?” “Oh!” He dropped the chicken back to its bucket. “I haven’t told him I’m back yet.” “But I’m sure he already have an idea. Many passengers saw us in the airport
SIRIUSI couldn't believe how my sparkle filled life suddenly turn into this one day - acting like a damn dog trailing behind Astra twenty-four seven and sleeping in a freaking bedmat on the hospital marble floor. And yet, somehow, I couldn't find anything wrong with that. It's like I'd rather live this life instead of going back to that old past lifestyle where I'm exhaustedly working in front the camera. I wonder how things would turn out after this, once her father wake up from his near death experience. Do we go back to Greece? Or she would head back to work, slowly pick up the remaining glimmer in her career and patch it up, while I'd be left with my own company as I still have yet to figure out how to clean my name from the media.I sighed and shook my head, trying to erase those thoughts away, although I couldn't help but be bothered from time to time.I was slumped down on my couch, waiting and letting the hours pass by slowly. I went home to my apartment after lunch and woul
SIRIUSI zoomed out of the building and drove down the busy road of the city, heading to the hospital, partly irritated by the papz. My phone rang and I slowed down a bit before plugging the earphones into me. I swiped the answer button and Astra's face immediately flashed on the screen."Hey there, doofus. Did the paparazzi caught you?" She greeted, centering her cute on the screen. She was chewing loudly and I could see the pale gum in her mouth. I chuckled quietly and shook my head."Nope. I'm good. I got us some chicken from Nandos.""Oh!" She chirped. "Great. I was browsing on Netflix today for a good movie."I grinned widely and playfully wiggled my eyebrows to her. "Movie night? We should call for some pop corns.""Right?! Wait, I think they're selling pop corns in the cafeteria.""Alright. I'll drop by there before heading upstairs.""Thanks! See you in a bit. Drive safely, dumbass!""Thanks, dummy, I will!"The facetime ended after that. I focused back on driving and arrived
SIRIUSMy head was throbbing in utter irritation after all the rude questions I was asked by those paparazzi. My steps felt heavy as I marched upstairs while carrying three paper bags in my hand.I stopped for a moment in front of the door, letting out a deep sigh, trying to calm down myself. I do not need Astra questioning me nonstop when she noticed how annoyed I am.And I also don't want to ruin this day! It's movie night and we're supposed to have fun! After sighing for the last time, I finally pushed the door open and stepped into the room. The beeping monitor and the serene sound of air-conditioner immediately swirled in my ear. Astra was slumped on the coach and tapping aggressively on her phone. I was immediately alarmed but then I remembered that she's currently addicted over a certain online game.I shook my head and stride my way towards her. Astra gave me a brief glance before she focused back on her phone to resume her game.I flopped beside her after carefully placing t
SIRIUSAfter an exhausting childish pillow fight, where nobody wins between us two as the doctor suddenly walked in for the daily rounds - halting our foolishness, we slumped by the couch to enjoy the dinner I purchased. On her lap was her laptop where a corny sitcom was playing and on mine was the bucket of pop corns. It's past nine in the evening and the next schedule for a nurse visit was at one in the morning. We basically have the room all by ourselves, but of course with her unconscious dad, for a few hours."This shit is boring. Play a horror film," I mumbled before shoving a few pop corns in my mouth. "I hope you made a mental note to count the amount of yawns I've let out since you played this wack show.""You're so mean!" She huffed at me. "This is my favorite show! You find it wack because you're not focusing on the storyline. Your attention is on the pop corns!""Not my fault the pop corns are more interesting than this abominable show." I retorted, trying to annoy her mo
SIRIUS"Goodness! What a bummer! Wake up, Sirius!" I heard a low grumble before I felt somebody shook my whole body. I groaned sleepily before forcefully opening my eyes to find Astra glaring at me."Get up and move to your own sleeping space which is the floor. I already made your bed, your majesty. Now move away 'cause I would like to rest," she demanded with a hard glare."Huh?" I said absentmindedly as I was too consumed by sleepiness. "W-what time is it?""It's one! The nurse just left to check on Dad. And you slept throughout the third episode! Remind me to kick your ass in the morning.""Oh, please. Cringey ass show," I mumbled as I groggily get off the sofa and straightly launch myself on the floor where my bed mat and pillows are already waiting for me."You're welcome, dummy.""No probs."It was too late. So of course, it's only reasonable I'd wake up later that morning as well. I felt disoriented and utterly shock to open my eyes to Astra's father already in his conscious f
ASTRAMy lips pursed to a tight smile as I watched my stepmother nearly burst into tears the very moment she laid eyes on my now conscious father."You stupid! You scared me to death. I thought it's time for me to arrange a wake for you!" Amy Fontanilla ranted beside my father who only laughed at her. Well honestly, I thought so too behind my optimism. But I'm glad those are mere thoughts now."I need you to recover quickly 'cause that damn company is a headache to me, Aldrich!""Oh, darling. I know you enjoy being a boss. Let me take my time while you have fun commanding my men." My father replied grinning."Oh, please! I think I need to visit a hair salon after these because for sure, I'd end up with tons of grey hairs from all the stress I faced in that office!"My father peeked at me through my stepmom's shoulder. "And why weren't you helping your mother in handling the business, young miss?" He asked with arched brows.I rolled my eyes and crossed my arms defensively. "Come on,
