Lisa paced around her room smoking a cigar. She remembered what Silvia had told her yesterday and she laughed crazily. She sat on her king sized bed still smoking when her bodyguard entered ‘Boss marco requests to see you’ he said calmly ‘Let him in’ Lisa replied perturbed. The huge guy bowed and left her room and shortly Marco entered. He walked towards her and snatches the cigar she was smoking and starts to puff it. ‘Marco’ she yelled trying to collect her cigar back but he didn’t give it to her. ‘Cigar is bad for your health Monalisa’ Marco informed smiling. ‘I know’ she retorted ‘ besides if it’s bad for my health then it’s bad for yours too’ ‘I know but I haven’t touched a cigar for a year now, and you smoke anytime you’re angry or confused’ he stated but suddenly frowned realizing something. ‘Did you discover something about Silvia’s case’. ‘Yeah, I did’ she replied frowning ‘now I have to pay a visit to an old friend of mine’. ‘Ok, but whatever happens, don’t get hurt

‘Angelo’ Lisa yelled angrily while the maid trembled and quickly knelt down silently sobbing, she suddenly sighed tiredly remembering that she had sent him on an errand. ‘I’m so sorry ma’am, am sorry’ the maid apologized whimpering. Lisa stood up from the chair and walks toward the maid, she stares at the maid for some seconds and she kicks the maid on her stomach making the maid screech in pain. ‘You’re fired and get the hell out of my office’ she yelled making the maid hurriedly leave her office sobbing loudly. She sighed loudly and stood outside her office waiting for Angelo, she wanted to tell to get another maid to clean her office, she really needed a body guard besides he was her assistant not her bodyguard. Lisa yawned and rolled around the bed, she sat up holding unto the duvet knowing she was stark naked, she sighed and looked at the guy beside her and he was sound asleep, she slipped from the bed quietly and takes her cloth which was on the floor and entered the bathroom to take her bathe. After some minutes she comes out of the bathroom dressed in her evening gown, she stared at the man and he was fast asleep, she moved closer to get a look at the young man she had slept with and smirked seeing it was a young handsome man. Monalisa stared at Jeremy as the doctor of the mafia treated him, she had changed her cloth and gotten rid of the evening dress cause it smelled of alcohol, she didn’t regret saying those words to her brother because he deserved it . The young doctor stood up and walks toward Monalisa. ‘I administered anesthesia to him so he will wake up two hours from now’ the doctor Brian said ‘Ok so how is he’. ‘ his condition isn’t very good’ he replied pausing briefly ‘he had multiple fractures on his arm, legs, fingers and due to the continuous hit he received on his head, he is prone to have amnesia’. ‘Ok’ Lisa replied plainly. She moved closer to kiss his lips and immediately Jeremy eyes flew open making Monalisa shriek and stumble. He winces as he sits up, he smiles at Lisa who was focusing to breathe. ‘I can’t believe you wanted to kiss me’ he mumbles smiling stupidly ‘oh gosh I should have continued pretending to be asleep’. ‘Stop dreaming you dimwit’ Lisa says hitting him on his head which makes him hiss in pain. ‘Hey, it hurts’ Jeremy complained trying to touch his head but failed to do so because of the extreme pain he felt in both arms. CHAPTER 18 Angelo walked into Monalisa’s office and met her applying a black nail polish on her fingernails as she happily hums. ‘Boss’ Angelo called while Lisa raised her head to listen to what he had to say. ‘It’s about Asher, the merchant we sell guns to’ Angelo says standing while Monalisa goes back to polishing her nails. ‘Asher’ Lisa says trying to remember who he was ‘is he the dude with a weird haircut who runs the underground black market in a dark alley at Wesley street’. ‘Yes, boss’ Angelo replied ‘Arghh, what did he do this time’ Monalisa asks sighing dramatically. ‘Well he purchased a set of unique guns and he signed our contract’ ‘I know that just get to the point’ . ‘He breached the contract, he sold the guns to our rising rival’ he said through gritted teeth. ‘so he sold the guns to those red bulls’ she said cackling manically ‘put him in our black list, ban the sales of guns to him and his fellow merchant friends, and tell our fellow companion to ban the sale

‘Jeremy’ Lisa yelled ‘there’s no way am getting on that thing’ ‘Lisa, it ain’t dangerous’ he said pouting. ‘You must be kidding me’ she muttered scoffing ‘you are injured and what are you gonna do if you fly of that thing’ ‘I ain’t gonna fly off, Lisa chill’ ‘I think you getting way comfy with me and what’s with your language’ ‘I’m speaking English’ he replied looking at the ‘thing’ Lisa detested. It was like a Ferris wheel but in a different way, instead of seats with seat belts it had a cage which would be locked and the cage possessed a belt and he knew for it to have a cage instead of a seat it was very dangerous and injured people weren’t advised or allowed to have a ride but he wasn’t going to take heed to their or Lisa’s advice. ‘come on Jeremy’ Lisa yells groaning as she helps Jeremy out of the car, she knew very well she could not run anywhere and the concrete bridge was very like to collapse if the car exploded so she had only one option which was to jump into the river. She dragged Jeremy to the edge of the bridge and faced him grabbing his face. ‘We have to jump’ ‘What’ Jeremy responded frantically. ‘It’s either we jump or we both die, so jump’ she yelled and pushed him into the river not waiting for his response. She looked at the river and exhaled as she ran back and ran to the edge of the bridge and jumped. Immediately she jumped the car exploded, alongside with the bridge it entered the water with a loud splash but Monalisa swam quickly to avoid the broken pieces of the bridge and car parts. She swam around looking for Jeremy and she sighted him, he was unconscious so she quickly swims toward him to save him from drowning or rather dying , she then grabs him and comes out of the water to breathe.
