Suspicious Move

Angelo, who had utterly become Aimie, went out of her bed with so much conviction. She changed her outfit and made her way towards the living room hoping Rain, just, as usual, would be sitting on the couch and would be reading her magazine and sipping her favorite tea.

Her slow steps began to hasten as she treads the long and vast halls of Rain’s house; the steps she made were noticeable in the quiet hallway that it was impossible not to notice her haste. Aimie was panting the instant she had gotten to the living room; she even leaned her body in the entranceway of the living room.

But Aimie’s expectant gaze immediately diminished when she did not see even the shadow of Rain. Aimie decided to head back to her room with no other choice since Rain was currently nowhere to be found. She didn’t try to find out if Rain was inside her room since Aimie knows that if she can’t find her in the living room, Rain would also most likely not be in her room.<
