Chapter 19. Alpha Kelvin's POV
When the driver dropped us off the previous night, I went into the house with anger and sorrow.
"Kelvin, what's the problem?. Why are you back this early?" My mother called out to me from the living room.
"Nothing Luna, he has an urgent work to do, that's why we are back "Patricia answered immediately, even before I could say anything.
I turned and looked at her.
"Right honey?" she asked touching my arm which indicated that she was helping me out.
"Yes mum, I need to complete my work "I answered heading upstairs. I don't know why she did that, but I'm glad she did.
I went into my room and slammed it shut. Not only that, but I changed my clothes and headed towards my bed. Furthermore, I laid down on my bed but couldn't get a single wave of sleep.
